Inter getting Simeone is defenitely way worse news then Milan getting an ambitious owner that's worth 24bn.

But imo he is just paying lipservice to it. Said same about Lazio.
Would like to see him at Lazio but not at inter. Not that I would fear losing the scudetto to them, but I would hate inter in CL again

I read Simeone's answer like

"if inter get their shit togheter, i might consider it".

Like seriously, why would a worldclass coach go to a team which is led that badly. You know they'll blame it all on the coach.

Milan is the biggest club after Juve with the largest fanbase worldwide. They were our main rival since I can remember. inter is a piece of shit wannabe big club that needs to be eradicated, along with Barcelona, for the good of this game

They can but that always struck me as an arab sheikh thing to do :D. I expect the chinese business genius to be a lot smarter.

That aside, City was always going to make massive revenues out of the EPL and the commercial benefits that come from being a top EPL team (massive shirt sales and so on). They also get to advertise their airline to the whole EPL fanbase which is massively far reaching worldwide. It would make less business sense to put that kind of investment in Milan because it will take a long long time before they start reaping the rewards. Commercially they can catch up with us in a couple of years (assuming they actually build a top team that performs immediately) while they will take a longer time to build their own stadium and equal our matchday revenues. It also takes time to be good in the CL and make it consistently past the group stage to make good CL money. We will ofcourse also be growing during that time period.
Genius chinese business in football doesn't exist. How much money they are throwing for trash? Plus they have so much dollar bills that they really don't have to make any sort of analysis about business models apart from throw hire enough trucks to transport that cash :D

Getting a great coach means you become more ambitious and give him tools. Also his Atletico past 5 years is just ridiculous in what he got out of his players. Very few of them stars, tho Atletico has a very good Academy that he made great use for. But generally it's mostly good modest players he made into a great unit.
Their players are quiet expensive and many of the top clubs are interested in them. Inter doesn't have anyone worth the bid.

It didn't happen overnight you know. They been for several years with him and before him (Aguero, Forlan) selling club who buy bargain good prospects and then profit by selling big. Much of it is due their connection with Jorge Mendes. Because they were and still are financially a complete mess of a club, but gradually grew to a kind of top club by getting big results and affording to buy better players and keep theirs longer (not too long because they don't give much in salary).

It's all entirely due to Simeone pretty much. Went from dreaming about winning EL, to doing it, then the league and now 2nd try in 3 years for CL. Kind crazy considering their resources and kind of competition they face. Besides Barca in CL final, Atletico is by far the most frustrating opponent we had in Kong time, simply because they made it impossible to create anything against them Las times we faced.

Well if the rumours are true, the end of an era in milan is approaching.

Lets be real, berlusconi needed to sell, but sadly for them, the club could be own by foreign dudes who will not have the traditions and love for the club the italians have.

Anyways, what milan need is inteligent people running it. Berlusconi has failed on so many levels for like 10 years straight with zero planning and out of the field personal issues. He Is the responsible for milan debacle and should step down.

But isnt inter managed far to poorly for Simeone to even take the risk ?

If they had financial stability, and room for a few medium purchases, i could understand it.

Well if the rumors were true, milan would have sold their club 100 times by now. With them and berlusconi selling best is to just wait and see.

Its easy to forget but Inter has more potential capital and defenitely bigger fanbase then Atletico. A great coach and good new management/director, and a few patient years where you start off modest and they can get back to the top for sure. You dont realize, however bad Inter is now, Atletico werent only smaller club, but they were PATHETIC, called even Pathetico. The whipping boys that had huge losses in games despite having prime Torres and later prime Forlan and Aguero attacks. Litterally the completely opposite of what Simeone made them.

Tanu_Mz: A little anedocte about Kevin Lasagna.
The bank I work for has a national football team that played a friendly/charity game vs Carpi. One of my fellow colleagues, who is also part of the gang travelling to the Stadium for the games, played that game which was held the same day Juve played Real Madrid away. After the game, they watched the Juve game all together in a pub and when Morata scored Lasagna jumped on the table and started to scream his head off like most Carpi players (Lollo and Romagnoli were pretty wild too, apparently, and only Letizia was shouting for Real being a merda fan).
I spoke to my mate last night and he told me: "when I saw Lasagna scoring vs merde @ San Siro in the last minute, after seeing his hysiterical reaction after Morata's goal, I was worried he might pull his pants down and start a wankfest in front of the cameras"
