We dont have to be arrogant, we were worse than last year, that was prooved both in CL and serie A, however the opposition was simply worse...
We cannot expect them to be that bad forever and make it easy for us and we should not take pride from beating a dead horse.
This championship was very important and only come second to Conte's first, as we have lost 3 of our champions and replaced with promising talent who was not prooved yet and some placeholders like Hernanes, naturally things will go better in the future and if we managed to beat serie A, even with such handicap, will look set for the future now.
It was important for the new lads and the remaining old guard to see that they can still be champions even without Tevez, Pirlo and Vidal and so they did with that magnificent winning streak! Now they know they are and the rest of the world too, so it can only get better from here!
We cannot expect them to be that bad forever and make it easy for us and we should not take pride from beating a dead horse.
