Inter-Udinese makes history
By Football Italia staff

Inter v Udinese made history as the first Serie A game – only the second in Europe – with only foreign players.

The Nerazzurri and Friulani stepped out at San Siro with 22 foreigners to begin the match.

According to Mister Chip, this is the first ever such scenario in a Serie A fixture.

It has only happened once before in the five big European leagues.

That was a Premier League match between Portsmouth and Arsenal on December 30, 2009.

There are 14 different nationalities represented on the pitch in Inter-Udinese.

Inter: Handanovic (Slovenia); Nagatomo (Japan), Miranda (Brazil), Murillo (Colombia), Juan Jesus (Brazil); Brozovic (Croatia), Felipe Melo (Brazil), Kondogbia (France); Biabiany (France), Icardi (Argentina), Jovetic (Montenegro)

Udinese: Karnezis (Greece); Felipe (Brazil), Danilo (Brazil), Wague (Mali), Widmer (Switzerland); Badu (Ghana), Kuzmanovic (Serbia), Bruno Fernandes (Portugal), Edenilson (Brazil); Thereau (France), Duvan Zapata (Colombia)

Peres vs Vraskjo (Spelling? :D)
