Lol, of course they count. But to me open play assists and goals are more telling of a players contribution and real value to a team. Berardi wont take many corners fk or pk here, bc we have dybala, who is better than him at pretty much everything.

I don't get why some people underestimate the current quality of Serie A. There were some tough years but Serie A is definitely on the up. Looking at the league table all the teams down to 16th are good teams and can on their day get results against anyone. Actually the team 16th at the table (Udinese) have beaten both Juve and Napoli this season.

I also don't like the mentality of using one teams domination as a sign of weakness in the league. Serie A is not the only league that suffers from that mentality of trying to claim that the bad competition is the reason for success rather than recognising a team is just stupidly good and plays on another level.

There are many instances in the history of sports where someone has dominated for a prolonged period of time and the only way the naysayers can have their moment in the sun is the aforementioned claim when infact most people know that the true reason for continious success is ones claim for greatness.

Well, considering how Beppe got all the good italian talents these days, and left the $#@! ones, thats a good thing.
