Inter and Trump €20m for Simeone?

Spanish papers claim Inter have offered Atletico Madrid Coach Diego Simeone €20m per year thanks to Donald Trump.

The quite remarkable and frankly improbable story appeared in today’s edition of Sport.

They suggest Inter President Erick Thohir has targeted Simeone as the ideal tactician due to his past success as a player at the club.

He’d be offered a five-year contract worth €20m per season.

The Nerazzurri are struggling with the Financial Fair Play regulations, but Sport insist there is a way around that.

It’s because Thohir’s search for new investors has supposedly found Proto Group Ltd, a company owned by Alessandro Proto and US Presidential candidate and reality TV star Trump.

Kalidou Koulibaly's agent claims Napoli are 'too small' as a club for his player.

The defender is performing well for the Partenopei and is undergoing negotiations to extend his contract, currently due to expire in 2019.

The club would like to keep him for a longer time, perhaps with a higher salary, but his agent's interview won't be helpful from a diplomatic point of view.

“He has a contract that allows him to stay in Napoli for some time," his agent Bruno Satin told French outlet So Foot. "But if he receives an offer from a club that plays the Champions League every year, he'll certainly think of it.
