Nainggolan: 'Juve not much better'
By Football Italia staff

Radja Nainggolan thought a draw would’ve been fair in Turin. “Juventus are not much better than Roma.”

Paulo Dybala got the decisive goal in a 1-0 result, but there were precious few scoring opportunities on either side.

We certainly didn’t do much in attack, but on a defensive level to allow so little against the form team in Serie A means we did well,” Nainggolan told Rai Sport.

“Are Juventus superior to Roma? It depends on form, at the start of the season people said the opposite. It’s part of the sport, at this moment they are in better shape, but today they only had two shots on target.

“The fact we came here and made life so difficult for them means Juventus are not much better than Roma. Last year we had peaks and troughs too, so hopefully next Sunday we can get back to winning ways.

“If we get our confidence back, then our performances will certainly improve.”

Nainggolan was moved into a trequartista role behind the strikers, while Roma unveiled a three-man defence.

“We all see the trequartista role in different ways. The Coach wants me to press opponents high up the field and it went well tonight, as we won back the ball several times. Obviously I need to improve in that role when in possession.

“It’s a new position for me, but if the Coach sees some qualities in me, then it’s right to try.”
Gollum going full retard to say Roma deserved points...

We only had 2 shots on target? Dybala forced 2 saves + scored. Cuadrado forced a save. Bonucci forced a save. Evra forced a save. Right there, that's 6 shots on target.

Gollum

IIRC

shots off target : 7-2
Shots on target : 3-1
"assists" : 2-0 (not sure what they meant with that, prolly key passes or sth)
Roma did nothing
Nah. We had way more. Dybala had a free kick saved centre, and one more shot from top of box saved centre. Evra blasted that shot into Woj's face from tight angle. Cuadrado had a weak shot saved. And Dybala scored.

That's minimum 5 shots on target. I think Bonucci had a shot on target too, but I'm not sure.

Whoscored says Dybala-3, Evra-2, Bonucci-1, Cuadrado-1

That's 7 shots on target. Gollum calls it 2.

Roma had 1 shot on target, Florenzi's from 40 yards out.

A little anedocte about Kevin Lasagna.
The bank I work for has a national football team that played a friendly/charity game vs Carpi. One of my fellow colleagues, who is also part of the gang travelling to the Stadium for the games, played that game which was held the same day Juve played Real Madrid away. After the game, they watched the Juve game all together in a pub and when Morata scored Lasagna jumped on the table and started to scream his head off :nico::nico: like most Carpi players (Lollo and Romagnoli were pretty wild too, apparently, and only Letizia was shouting for Real being a merda fan).

I spoke to my mate last night and he told me: "when I saw Lasagna scoring vs merde @ San Siro in the last minute, after seeing his hysiterical reaction after Morata's goal, I was worried he might pull his pants down and start a wankfest in front of the cameras"
