Small note. Remember 2002/2003. The quarterfinal against barcelona, second leg.
We were getting hammered all damn game. nothing short of a miracle(called buffon beeing good and luis enrique missing everything), kept us from not beeing goals down. But we kept the 0-0.
Then, when we took our moment when nedved scored. Barcelona equalised, and looked to get murdered when someone took red (montero ?)

Somehow it went to ET, and we still didnt concede a second goal. We got like 1 chance the entire ET. That counter , wich zalayeta scored

We all think about the glorious madrid semi final, but we suffered SO much against barcelona the game before.

In the 2015 final, we did exactly that. But unlike 2003, we didnt manage to take the game when we got that small window of opportunity.

Seriously, how undeserved did we kick out barcelona back then and how good did that feel :D

Great feeling, that sublime cross from Birindelli for Zalayeta to win in extras after playing with a man down for most of the game.
Yes, but how undeserved was that win from neutral pov.

Nedved scored against the play after huge misses from barca, someone equalised, soon after we got a red . We got hammered but kept our goal clean.

I'd compare it to the final. got hammered first half, and somehow got it back equalised.

in 2003 we scored that chance, in 2015, we didnt get that penalty, and our patch was killed when they scored a counter after a pogba foul.

No one will say we were "hard done by" considering how we were hammered. But we had the opportunity to win, and we didnt take it

Yeah. And it was 1-1, we scored against the play, they equalised and we saw red. Then, they domminated us sooo hard. But we saw it trough

"cheated" is a big word.

barcelona was better. But after the equaliser, we could have turned it around with that foul on pogba, and that same pogba got fouled during the counterattack wich led to barcelona's goal.

We could have gone 2-1, it could have remained 1-1 and we could have kept pushing.

For that period in the game, we could have won it. Wouldnt have been a deserved victory after getting hammered all first half tho, but whatever.

This is football. Could have scored twice in our good patch and won it.
That free kick not given on the edge of the box to Pogba....Would've been great to see Pirlo put one in the top corner.

But these are things that can happen. I have no doubt in my mind that if the roles were reversed and let's say Suarez was pulled down it wouldve been a penalty.

Also let's not forget Vidal could've easily seen a red card in the first half.

But this wasn't to open up the discussion about the final, nor to say that those Milan fans aren't completely pathetic in still going on about Il Gol di Muntari. Just that there aren't really that many differences between the two fanbases, and why would there be.

Ferrero: 'Sarri insulted everyone'
By Football Italia staff

Sampdoria President Massimo Ferrero believes Maurizio Sarri’s ban is too short - “aren’t we all the same in football?”

The Blucerchiati patron was banned for three months in 2014 for calling Indonesian Inter President Erick Thohir “that Filipino”.

Today, Napoli Coach Sarri was given a two-match Coppa Italia ban for alleged homophobic slurs at Inter’s Roberto Mancini, and Ferrero wants equal treatment.

“We’re seeing increasing double standards,” Ferrero told Samp TV.

I got 50 years for a geographical error, he insulted everyone and got two games. Aren’t we all the same in football?”
LMAO....Serie A :touched:

To be fair there are still people around here who believe that we were cheated in the CL final because Pogba might have deserved a penalty on Barca's second goal.
We weren't cheated and Barcelona were better. We did not have rhe ref on our side however. And it's getting pretty tiresome watching all these calls go Barcelona's way, it has been going on for an eternity. I am not really talking about the penalty instance, rather about the game as a whole.

Every 50-50 call in that game went in their favor and as you've pointed out it's been going on for years.

In our game there was a stonewall penalty, while free kick on Pogs in the 1st half was 50-50 decision, that unsurprisingly went in their favor. I definitely felt cheated after the game. It doesn't matter who was the better team overall, since not always the best team ends up as a winner. My only regret is that certain incidents influenced the final outcome and for that we can feel little aggrieved.

This league is one big joke when you see how many idiots are at the helm of various clubs.
And we wonder how farsopoli happened and how league crumbled so much...because it was mostly ran by idiots like that Ferero or similar court jesters

Would you like to be called filipino?
Sorry, i'm trying to understand.

I tought males from the phillipines were called "filipino's". So its the same like we'd be called "nederlanders" but were from belgium.

Or is it insulting slang, like calling a hispanic person a "spic", a black man "nigger" , a chineese 'chink", etc

Just beeing a retard calling someone the wrong nation, is , well, retarded, but not something i'd ban for.

I dont think @JCK is going to ask for my head if i mistake him for norwegian. (as long as its not danish its fine iirc)

Nah it isnt an insult in itself.

Either he is stupid enough that he didnt know the nationality of the highly publicized new owner of one of the biggiest clubs in Europe in same league he has his club in, or he is the kind of simpleton who did but generalizes all asians to be alike and just off handledly called him fillipino as casual demeaning remark. Was seen as derogatory term, thats why he was punished for it, and he knows it.

The standard the league's association it has for its owners and leading figures is above this kind of stuff, and was seen as quite poor press, hence became a discpline issue. Tho the joke itself is the guy in charge punishing Ferrero is more consistent offender then Ferrerro and Sarri's singular cases.

Ah, i see, thanks for clarifying.

In the light of that, that 2 coppa games ban, really is too soft and not consistant with other punishments such as this one

So, you're basically saying we were cheated.
