Handanovic, Higuain, Paulo Sousa and Juve's comeback. The three individuals and Juve as a team in the last 9 rounds marked this half season. Handanovic and Higuain for providing tons of points to their teams, Sousa for giving his team a new identity and putting it in the scudetto fight. Juve for being a machine that will win the scudetto again.

Honestly shut the $#@! up you embecile, he scores 18 in 19 games and still is called $#@! here. That's double of what Dybala has done for us but zero acknowledgement as usual.

Open your damn eyes and see quality performances for what it is.
Easy, brother. Don't let the minions get to you.

I feel sorry for Sousa, his defence and depth has clear flaws, otherwise his system is compelling enough to finish over Roma and Inter imo.

lol what are you talking about? Dnipro was the EL semifinal. the game(s) were decisive for the team and higuain choked. same as WC final, vs Lyon in CL 2010 etc. half of the games you listed werent even decisive for his team as they would change very little in their season even if they lost (some of them i believe they even did), or the games wouldnt end much diferently even if Higauin didnt score/assist. he played 7 seasons for Madrid and in 48 games in CL scored an astounishing 8 goals. Morata who you love to belittle on every occasion for example has scored 8 CL goals already the last 3 season in just 24 games. and most of them were very decisive for us as they got us to a CL final
You gotta settle on one meaning of big games. Do you mean against big teams? I have already showed that he usually scores against big teams. Do you mean in important matches for napolis season? (That's what you are suggesting in this post) then he has also done it plenty of times.

Every match in serie a is worth 3 points and those against teams competing for the same positions (top 3) are even more important. He is a goal scoring machine in serie A against all teams and has a very good record against Roma lazio and juve as well as inter and Milan.

In Europe every match is important and he is by far napolis best performer in these competitions. In the group of death he scored and assisted against Dortmund Arsenal and Marseille. In the season they lost the qualifier to Bilbao he still scored. In the decisive Europa knockout matches against Sparta Prague, Wolfsburg and trabzonspor he was again the main man scoring and assisting.
The guy does his job most of the time but the rest of the team do not because it's Napoli after all.
What you do is that you ignore all the matches leading up to the semi final in which he was the undisputed best player for his team and then say that he chocked because he could not score in that last match.

I could do the same to any player who does not end up winning the competition but it is simply unfair. You formed your opinion of him from his Madrid days and refuse to acknowledge how much he has improved with Napoli and grew into his leadership role

Sorry bro, but you're wrong. He's been at Napoli 3 years now. He couldn't even get his team into the CL places the last 2 seasons. He wilts down the stretch when the games are more important.

Last season for example, Higuain scored 6 goals in Napoli's last 17 games, a major reason they didn't make the CL places. He didn't score against Dnipro in either Semifinal leg causing Napoli to be upset by a massive underdog team. And didn't score in either leg of the Coppa Italia semifinal against Lazio, causing Napoli to go out of that.

So Higuain was a major part of Napoli dropping out of CL places in the league and finishing 4th last year. He was a major part of the Europa League elimination Dnipro. He was a major part of Coppa Italia elimination by Lazio.

Just prior to that he choked all World Cup long for Argentina.

In 2014-15 he choked in everything. World Cup. Stretch run in Serie A. Coppa Italia semi. Europa semi.

He's the best striker in the league in the first half of this season, but I'll wait to see the stretch run in all comps before I decide how impressive his year is.

Plus Higuain with 20 Champion's League Knockout games played. Guess how many goals. 2 goals in 20 CL knockout round games.

And he's not scoring petty tap-ins and penalties like Cristiano. The guy is scoring great goals and assisting regularly. This is the kind of stuff you expect from your best player.
He's been a choker throughout his career alright but the stuff he's been doing this yr cant be written off.He has evolved into a complete player.
This is pretty dumb. Comparing Higuain favourably to Cristiano.

We get it, you don't like Cristiano. But he scores many nice goals. And he has 10 assists already this year. Higuain has 2 assists. Yeah, Higuain is the one assisting regularly.

Have people not learned yet? Insult Osman and he'll make your grandparents regret having your parents

Higuain is class, although he tends to underperform when it is really needed. Think that was the main reason why Real let him go.

I don't disagree with you about the rest CrimsonianKing, that's why I didn't even reply to it, know how his overall career been, nor or is he close to someone I like, complete opposite (mainly because of how he behaved towards Parma and others) .

I'm not mad, but if you reply only to say I suck other teams cock and add nothing else to it because I say it's impressive how he is playing, basically what Tevez did for us, then yeah you deserved to be told you are fucking imbecile that shouldn't have bothered hitting send. If he gives me zero respect then he deserves non. It's that simple.

Higuain will always be a class striker, and he's playing amazing right now, dominating the league this year... but as I said, I'll wait for the stretch run, and the knockout games that really matter to really decide how good he was this season. That's what separates the very best from the level just below them, that ability to perform all season long, and even more so when it matters. Higuain has never shown that. His CL knockout round scoring record of 2 in 20 at Madrid. His 0 goals in 4 semifinal matches of EL and CI last season (Napoli eliminated from both), and his poor stretch run that was a major reason Napoli didn't qualify for CL for this year (6 goals in last 17 games, only scored in 4 of 17 games). It will be interesting to see this year. If he fails miserably again like that in the last stretch of the season this year and Napoli drops to 3rd or lower, I, for one, will judge his overall season as poor. But I'll reserve judgment on this until we actually get there and just say he is having an incredible start to the year.

Xerdan Shaqiri about Inter:
"One time I was injured and I needed to be ready for a game. They told me that there was a miraculous healer who lived in the mountains. I drove for half an hour in a car to have been manipulated by an old man, but he did not help me at all. This is also why Stoke City was the best choice: here there are seven physiotherapists, who will examine me everyday: hips, feet, legs. Everything in a professional manner".
