@Fred I know you not watching, but in general, this game and so far what I seen of him for Inter. Honest to God, whats Kondogbia's job out there? Atleast Guarin is very active even if he is brainless fails with executing shots/some plays. But Kondogbia looks like that oversized friend you allow to play with the group because you want to be nice. Who has never played the game before and just looks like a clumsy bear on the pitch bumbing into others.

In a nutshell, I was saying I thought people overrated him on this forum in the summer, making him out to be some amazing signing by Inter. Fact of the matter was last season was the first good season he had in club football, and even then, it was only for the second half of the season. He's always had the promising player tag hovering above him because of his exploits with the French youth teams alongside Pogba and co, but last season was the first where he actually played well for a somewhat significant time period(half a season) in club football.

In general what he offers is a physical presence, lots of stamina, and a strong tackler in midfield, he's a box to box midfielder that can run all day. Going forward he offers very little though, he lacks in technique, he isn't much of a passer of the ball; though Jardim did get him to play it simple last season which made his lack of passing ability less of a problem.

He could turn out to be a good player for Inter, but he's going to need time to adapt to Italian football. Just don't expect him to be the next Pogba, he never was as good as Pogba and he never will be.

Kondogbia would find it much easier if there was bit more technical quality in Inter's side. Right now he is being forced to do too much. A little bit similar to what Pogba is suffering from here this season, but it's even worse at Inter because outside of Jovetic there is a void of creativity in their lineup.

Inter had a great transfer market and then threw it all away by losing Kovacic and Hernanes. Their midfield doesnt have any genuine passers and so the entire attacking has to be reliant on Jovetic, the wolfsburg guy and Icardi. They can do very well when fully fit by I wonder what happens when injury strikes.

We'll keep losing more points than we were used to in the previous 3 seasons. Not as much as we did in the opening 6 rounds, but more than last year for sure. With Roma and Napoli still being our most serious rivals for the scudetto, I think February is too early for the first place. If we do top the table eventually, it should happen some time in April, or even the very last rounds.
I expect a real mess in the top 5 in spring. The close race will also bring lots of controversy, especially if those southern cry babies are fighting for the scudetto with Juventus.

Fiorentina are here to stay they have a winner in charge, Paulo Sousa knows how to win and his team are legit title contenders at the moment. Fiorentina are also big contender for Europa League, they are very good in that competition and now with the current squad they have I think they could go all the way. For me I think the top 3 will be 1. Fiorentina, 2. Juventus, 3. Napoli also all three of those teams will go far in Europe.

I thought so about Fiorentina, it was typical for them to choke against Inter but they didn't. They seem very strong.

Our main competitors are still Napoli and Roma. Fio will eventually drop out the same way as Inter. Paulo Souza might be a great coach, but Fio just doesn't have enough recourses. I'm even more scared of Napoli than Roma, not only because of theirs recent results, but because of the Sarri. That dude really knows how to build a system and how to adjust his system to every opponent. He's like Bernard Hopkins of coaching, the system stays the same, but he makes tiny adjustments, one move there, one step here and he breaks your whole game apart.

Napoli is a serious team this year. I think I said this somewhere before the season but I really believe in their new mentality and their coach. It's the right way to play with that team setup.

They are focusing a lot more energy on defence and they are counter-attacking ruthlessly. I don't know if I can put Roma ahead of them right now.
