Gaining a fourth spot means also less money for us which is a bad thing , if we gain four spots and the fourth team qualifies we will get half the money we get from the market pool unfortunately . Such a shame that serie a doesn't command a higher TV fee these days . Say what you want about the EPL , they perform terribly in CL , but the amount of money they are getting from their tv rights is astounding .

More teams in the CL is likely to build the prestige of Serie A and eventually lead to more money from TV and sponsors, though.

I'd say Serie A is getting much more money than they deserve, considering how shit the league has been for years.

Yes EPL earn twice as much, but Serie is second with huge distance ahead of La Liga and Bundesliga.

If Italy gets money and crazy sponsors, EPL style, I hope it comes to an EPL cost, shit local players and shit national side. They got to suffer somewhere man.

This is also true , but the spanish have been in top of CL for some years now , with real, barca leading , atletico following closely and teams like sevilla , villareal ,bilbao performing very good in europe year in year out and I haven't seen La Liga gaining a lot of recognition . I hope you're right though .

I think the english are the best in the world at marketing their league .

Tbh it's not that italys national team is at a very high level at the moment :D . Still I don't think that will happen , the football mentality in italy is much different than in england , so I think it will not come to that . A great league won't mean a shit national team .

Italy getting another CL spot would be good because it would mean another team in Europe and therefore another team having the burden of mid-week European matches. Also, the better Italian teams perform the easier it will be to attract players. Players want to play in the best league possible. If Serie A seems strong then it'll be easier to attract players here.

La Liga has been getting recognition, even the ones 3 place and below. Most people are aware of the spanish quality and how they dominate European football and international competition, they do get that recognition however that recognition doesn't suddenly turn into financial gains. There's no guarantee that Serie A would have it any different either. Let's just crush them roaches and dominate all them maggots. Easy.

I know we have a big distance with bundesliga , but IIRC we aren't that far away with la liga , on the other hand the english make more money than all the other major leagues combined
