i think he meant Zach
primarily Zach but also others.

And yes he did say so and then after Roma's midfield schooled ours he said he was counting on Pogba stepping up which didn't happen. There was then multiple posts about staruro being amazing given the madrid match and how marchisio was superior to Radja and De Rossi.

@CrimsonianKing I didn't win shit  :sigh: :moan:

Inter have looked incredibly unimpressive, yet have 9 points. We have struggled and played like shit, but only have one point to show for it.

Anyone know where I can watch Serie A games in HD with no or minimal delay? I am currently using Acestream but the quality is shoddy, and there was a 6 minute delay in the Juventus vs Chievo game. I have a VPN, and I don't mind paying for quality. Fuck my cable provider. They carry The Champions League, The Europa League, La Liga, The EPL, The Bundesliga, Ligue 1, and even the fucking Scottish League and MLS, but no Serie A!!!

Marchisio is better than those two though.

De Rossi at his best is better, but he's been inconsistent for a while now.

Marchisio > De Rossi last year.

Radja = Marchisio last year.

no
read his posts again

he is
Marchisio had 2 very good seasons in a long career at Juve.. Radja has been way more consistent since his calgary days and also at a very high level. Marchisio apart from last season and 1 season under Conte was completely invisible. De Rossi has up and downs too but when on form he was one of the world's best DMs and received offers from all the big clubs (and turned them down like a retard). He has also been a very good player for Italy unlike marchisio who is yet to have any influence.

and marchisio is consistent? he is a nobody with the national team altogether and he was non-influential for the majority of his career with us. 1 good season as Pirlo's deputy wont make me forget his normal levels. If he return to his pre-last season form we will be fucked.

Marchisio was so incredibly underrated in those seasons where you claim him to have been "invisible" it was cringeworthy at times.

Marchisio had 2 "very good seasons" yeah. how many such seasons Radja had so far? none. Radja is yet to have such a good season as Marchisio last year. or even Marchisio 11/12. truth is they are different types of midfielders, and have a different kind of impact on the team, so comparing them is kinda not natural, but one should still be able to tell who the better player is. you could say you prefer Radja for his physical presence, tackling etc., but you cant be looking at their careers so far and say Radja is better. even if you look at last season only, its not a contest. so career wise, Marchisio > Radja. last season Marchisio > Radja. this season, well, its 3 games old.

about De Rossi, if it was the old De Rossi id agree. but last few years hes not even the best midfielder in Roma. he declined in the last few years and shouldnt even been mentioned.

but you go on and keep underrating Marchisio on every opportunity, youve been doing so constantly for over a year now despite the fact that he was top 3 performing midfielder in the world last season

how about he was underwhelming?
if youre a 7 year old boy watching football, yes, maybe you could say so

You know I was with you for the whole post, I even thought there's no more need to respond to Hist as you covered everything I was going to say until the bolded part :p

That is a definite exaggeration IMO. Whichever way you look at it, Marchisio is never a top 3 midfielder in the world.

Well that's better/makes more sense, but i still disagree to be honest. He wasn't even the best midfielder at Juve, would you not agree that last season Pogba was? Despite the last few weeks of the season after his injury when he wasn't at his best i thought Pogba had a great season last year, he definitely was a top 3 midfielder on last seasons performance. Marchisio was good, but i wouldn't class him amongst the top 3 on last seasons performance.

id put Marchisio over Pogba simply for his consistency. Pogba was amazing for 3-4 months around November-February but after the injury we saw much less of his amazing performances. Marchisio kept a very high level through out the whole season. he never was as good as Pogba in those 3 months, but he was always up there close. and he was playing 2 positions (CDM and CM, depending on if Pirlo was playing or not) equally good. performance wise, no.1 midfielder in Italy last year, top3 with Iniesta and Modric probably in Europe. maybe im overlooking someone who i havent watched enough like Verratti (pretty sure he had a fantastic year), or Pogba could be argued to have a better season based on those 3-4 months, so im gonna corrent my statement a bit. he was top5 definitely last season, top3 even for me :p
