Eli was the star defender during their pre-seasons, and not forget Mexes was already in his way out when Berlusconi asked Miha to consider him and gave a one year extension.
I think right now it will be Romagnoli starting from one side, with the other one will be alternated between Eli and someone else Zapata/Mexes.
Paletta and Alex are clearly not in the plans .

Who will pay 10m for Destro or Mbiwa? Anyway they paid way more for Destro and never gave him a chance. He wasn't that bad for them. Brining in 50yo Doumbia and loaning Destro out is another masterpiece by Sabatini.

Sabatini screwed up some transfer dealing with the Doumbia . They hardly manage to offload the trio of Doumbia, Destro and Gervinho for any decent money. Iturbe was a flop last season, and they got a whole lot of players on loan they need to pay next season. Add that to the mediocre defense they got, I just hope they wont get another 7-1 in the CL, dragging the leagues name with it.
