If thats true, then Milan are trying to copy Beppe, but failing miserably at it.

Milan is currently the little $#@! of serie a. Nobody wants to go to a team owned by a greedy rampant pedophile, who's trying to sell everything to thai ladybois, while ruining the team.

So foreign players reject them. Much like pretty much anything rejected juventus pre-conte.

So Milan does what Beppe dit. Buy domestical players, preferably italian, to fill the team, and work from there.

However, there is no $#@!ing way even in those circumstances that Bertolacci and Romagnoli are worth THAT much.

Especially taking into accound that Milan is feeding off scraps here, since juventus has basically had first pick on most talent.
they are basically gambeling. Romagnoli is, after Rugani, the most promising CB in the country. he is also a year younger than Rugani. 30M for him might seem much now, but if he turns out to be an Italy regular with Rugani and becomes starter caliber for, whats supposed to be, a CL Milan in the future, no one will remember and care for what they paid for him 4-5 years ago.

Bertolacci on the other hand is indeed overpaid. he is an Italian NT player though, hes also relatively young (24-25), but he is much less of a gamble than Romagnoli. i think Mihajlovic saw what they midfield lacked, he thinks Bertolacci can get them that so he requested for him. he was very good for Genoa last season, and the fact Roma paid ~8M for his half proves his value.

they still need a trequartista if they are gonna play with 2 strikers, unless they are planning a 3-5-2 or a 4-4-2

Not that im complaining but how come we're not playing in it this year?

Milan, Inter and Sassuolo will face off in the traditional Trofeo TIM in Reggio Emilia on August 12.

The pre-season tournament is a mainstay of the Serie A summer and once again will be hosted by Sassuolo’s Mapei Stadium.

These three teams take each other on in 45-minute matches to decide who wins the trophy.

It will be a great opportunity to see Milan and Inter against other top flight opposition, as well as an early Derby della Madonnina.

Have I said how much I really like Sassuolo recently?

I really like them. Even with a very rich ownership group, they're building their brand and club slowly, over time. Keeping strong, veteran Italians but getting promising talent at a good price. Created a relationship with a league powerhouse in Juventus and are building that relationship through loans and giving/taking decent transfer prices. It's just good business on their part.

Apart from us , they also have their own stadium if I am not mistaken. Very forward thinking.

Losing Vidal, Tevez, Pirlo and Trofeo TIM in the same mercato. This is unacceptable.

Rossi: Juventus Have The Strength In Depth To Regain Scudetto

Former Juventus forward Paolo Rossi believes that the Bianconeri have the strength to regain their Serie A title next year despite the improved squads of Inter and AC Milan.

The 58-year-old has discussed the transfer business of each side and has stated that the Nerazzurri will be the closest competitors to Juve.

“Inter have completed the signing of [Geoffrey] Kondogbia and Juve have got [Paulo] Dybala,” Rossi told Mediaset.

“The Argentine is a great talent and a player I like very much.

“Bacca [Carlos] is also a good acquisition for Milan.

“Despite this, I still believe that Juve remain the favourites for the title as they have the strong habit of winning. Inter will be their closest challengers.”

Rossi has also analysed The Old Lady’s chances in the Champions League next season as well as the potential return of Zlatan Ibrahimovich to Italy.

“In Europe Juve will be among the last eight in the competition,” the former Milan striker continued.

“Then after that it all depends upon the squad and the various conditions.

“As for Ibrahimovich, a team consists of more than just one player.”
