The Italian Super Cup between Juventus and Lazio will be held in Shanghai on August 8.

This is the Italian version of the Community Shield, between the Scudetto winners and Coppa Italia holders.

As Juve did the Double in 2015-16, Lazio will take part as Coppa Italia runners-up.

It will kick off at the Shanghai Stadium in China at 20.00 local time, 13.00 UK time (12.00 GMT).

'Inter and Milan' worry Tavecchio
By Football Italia staff

FIGC President Carlo Tavecchio is “worried about Inter and Milan investments. The balance sheet shouldn’t allow certain expenses.”

Neither side has qualified for Europe, but both have worked hard on the transfer market this summer with deals for the likes of Geoffrey Kondogbia, Carlos Bacca, Miranda, Luiz Adriano, Martin Montoya and Andrea Bertolacci.

“I am worried about Inter and Milan investments,” Federation chief Tavecchio told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“The balance sheets of the two clubs shouldn’t allow for certain expenses, unless there’s something under all this I am not aware of.

“Perhaps they think that the cost can be backed by their own funds. We are talking about men of honour, so I am sure they will keep their promises.”

They can continue to bring in as much players as they want, but they will need another Farsopoli to throw us of the throne.

Today Viola VP Panerai sent a series of angry tweets, including one to CONI (Italian Olympic Committee) President Giovanni Malagò.

“Dear Giovanni, Salah is the final straw. We can no longer tolerate that signatures and rules are worth less than zero.

“If football clubs were to respect transparency, Inter would have already been relegated. Whose money is it, starting from the Cayman Islands?

“Platini knows that Inter have broken the Fair Play rules. For Salah and other players who cost millions. This is the right chance to make an example of them.”

Giannelli Imbula’s father said Inter “make me want to throw up” after the midfielder joined Porto. “They sent threats.”

It had been a transfer saga involving Inter and Milan for the Olympique Marseille man, who eventually opted for Porto.

“I was very interested in his move to Inter, as they are a big club with an ambitious project,” Willy Ndangi told the Journal du Dimanche newspaper.

“However, we waited in vain for Roberto Mancini to speak to Giannelli, but for four days there was no sign of life from the Nerazzurri.

“Their whole set-up makes me want to throw up. They only woke up when they heard Porto were interested in him.

“Their intermediaries sent me messages containing threats.”
