Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini has compared Claudio Lotito to fascist dictator Benito Mussolini.

The Lazio President is at the centre of a row after being recorded saying he hopes Carpi and Frosinone don’t win promotion to Serie A, as it would affect television rights.

Lotito also intimated that he has more power than the heads of the Lega Serie A and Serie B, and the Rosanero patron thinks he has an inflated sense of self.

“It was shameful to record a phonecall, like the Soviet Union,” Zamparini said of the incident, in an interview with Radio 24.

“However, he was talking rubbish. Carpi have the right to play in Serie A.

“The problem is that the Lazio President suffers from the delusion of omnipotence, like Mussolini or [former Socialist Party leader Bettino] Craxi.

“Unfortunately there’s a power struggle going on between Juve and Lotito.

“Marotta? He says certain things that will suit them [Juve] influenced by his bosses.

“As for Lotito, I repeat, he was talking rubbish, he thinks he’s omnipotent.

“Maybe he doesn’t know that power bothers people, who will then want to fight you, he wants to get involved in politics too.”

But his surname is Barwah, the Balotelli surname comes from his adoptive parents which are from Palermo o_O
I know. And Balotelli has clearly stated why he wants people to call him Balotelli and not Barwah.

I'll correct myself, you didn't say it's the worst. You said it's "far worse" than Italy.

I'm speaking from personal experience here. I've lived in both Europe and USA and find the former much more racist so that's why I find your statements ridiculous.
Because in the States public figures would never be openly racist, but would rather be racist behind scenes and influence people's lives that way?

All the same demons really....shouldn't be comparing who's more vile to make yourselves feel better, come up with solutions or act on it, otherwise it ain't even worth discussing this subject matter.

I don't mind being annoying towards an ignorant racist. I guess "ignorant racist" is a pleonasm.

I agree with you, Balotelli fucked up bad. I respect his choices, and I also respect his adoptive parents, however I can't understand why he would choose to identify himself with people that hate him. Sure his parent's and close ones treat him with love and care, but what about the surroundings. It says a lot about how little he knows about where he is from, or it may also say just as much about how much he loves his adoptive parents, regardless it's a huge burden he has chosen to carry and the least you can do is respect it.

But truth be told I can't expect that little amount of consideration and respect from you. You firmly believe in your superiority, and you'd rather starve the other to confirm your superiority then to treat him as your equal.

That is a big assumption bro, just because there are some vocal idiots doesn't mean the country hates him. He was incredibly popular before last world cup anyway.

My problem is not what you think. I don't like Balotelli attitude. He had all chances to make trough but failing so hard.
I have the utmost respect for anyone i have bigger problems with my country representative and their idiocy.

Now please point out when i said anything disrespectful toward Balotelli? or anybody else. I'm not the one who rates people with "eat a deck you facist cunt".
I state my opinions in a educated and polite way. You might differ but i never insult anyone unlike some others who claims to be the embodiement of perfection.

Zidane was a national hero in 98, but villified in 06.

You're one of them if you fly your flag after a victory, after a defeat, back to the back of the bus.

By you insisting on his birthname and refusing to calling him by what he wants to be called by, or constantly reminding him that he is not one of you is a huge lack of respect.

Now how did i just called him now? i mean it really people like you madde or fred are really unreasonable.
I judge Balotelli a over hyped medias product. When the truth is that he failed everywhere he went.

There is truth in all lies and jokes.

Point I was trying to make with Zidane, and the point that I'm making with the whole name thing is that, the nigga is wasting his time, he'll never get accepted there. His money, his status, the attention he brings to the nation will be accepted, but he Mario Barwaah Balotelli will never be accepted.

There's always that hyphen and certain hyphens are more "respectable" then others. Italian-French, or Italian-Spanish, Italian-German would have that hyphen to distinguish himself from the "pure" italian, ou bien de souche comme on dit, and he'll be accepted. The Italian-Ghanain or Italian-Somali, Italian-Erithrian  fuggetaboutit!!!

Looks like I hit the spot uh Valerio?

Dude you're over sensitive about anything.
Mind keeping your stuff with you i'm here to talk about football not debate on something else.
Neither i am here to see you and Maddi insult me cause of my opinions.
Add me to your ignore list if what i write is unpleasant.

By the way just want to clarify i don't hate anyone based on their skin color or nationality.
I might be biased to be superficial about religion and islam but maybe it's due to what happening lately all over the world. You know Isis and stuff.
So i say better safe than sorry.

cheers

I'm not gonna ignore shit! Whatever bullshit comes out of you, I'll be there to educate and show you the truth.

Now in matters of football, can't wait to see Italy crash out of the group stage in another international comp :weee:
