There is a difference here.

The condition is that C is not interfering with opposition.

However, when the ball is launched, Destro (who would be C at the situation) is interfering with opposition, because there is a defender marking him and the ball initially goes towards him and Strootman.

Destro attracts the defending of an opponent, who could be defending Strootman if it weren't for Destro.

So the situation does not apply to that FIFA rule. The goal is offside. Just as Juve's goal against Napoli, where Chiellini is offside and interferes in the play, being man marked by an opponent.

So this goal was as irregular as Caceres goal.

Lazio President Claudio Lotito dubbed Felipe Anderson “priceless” and claims Roma verbally “assaulted” him.

The patron spoke to Il Messaggero newspaper about tomorrow’s game with Napoli and the controversial war of words that followed the 2-2 derby draw.

“I have no problem with Roma, but I confirm my opinions on them,” said Lotito.

“I never had any bitter or hostile attitude towards Roma. The two clubs have different visions. I always acted as the ant and not the grasshopper.

“I didn’t criticise them. It all started during a phone-in when I said Totti’s selfie was inopportune, something I still believe. It would’ve been better to do that after the game and not during.

“I also consider Juventus to be stronger than Roma. I am sorry that a technical evaluation should be followed by the verbal assault I was subjected to.”

Lotito had exchanged a series of increasingly bitter statements with Roma President James Pallotta, which culminated in the Giallorossi chief calling him “foolish and ignorant.”

After moving on from the Roma row, Lotito commented on Lazio’s star striker Felipe Anderson.

“He is priceless, like a precious jewel. He is a world class player with great technical potential and moral fortitude. We’ve always sought out the man as well as the player.”

If we accept that Destro is on line with Strootman, then this isn't offside, despite Destro being offside when the original pass came. It's passive offside, well explained by Fifa:
exactly. as i said, quite questionable rule but according to it it´s a good goal. well maybe destro´s toe was offside ^^.

I never knew there were matches at this hour. I woke up to roll a 4:20AM blunt and the next time I see is an eagle flying on tv. I guess I wont sleep now.
