Gervinho deserves some Christmas present from Juve for that performance of today.
He is one of a few Roma players you can't but love.

He had pretty nice numbers last season, but yeah, one of the most frustrating players ever. He'd get past 4 players but scoring one on one is like 10% chance at best. If he had better finishing he'd nail like 20 goals per season when you see how much that guy fails in front of the goal lol.
In hindsight, spot on.

Sabatini on the Garcia and the Genoa incident:

“Garcia is not relieved. More than anything he is still disappointed and bitter, as he was accused of something he didn’t do. It was a scandalous incident,”

If you see Totti on the pitch playing at the 95th minute, that's always a good sign. :)
:agree:

Those crosses of his today.

Greatly enjoying the comments of butthurt Romanisti idiots who say they "got robbed again". When it happened to Sassuolo and Genoa against them, though, those teams weren't "robbed", that was "justice".

Haha, fuck them. They should enjoy 2nd place while it lasts, it's a great placement for a small club like Roma.

Thank you Milan for the horrible game. Thank you Rizzoli for making this game god awful. How hard it is to give red cards and give penalties to finish off this ultra poor Milan and their game breaking volleyball?
This comment.

It's amazing they have completely forgotten the last two games already and the massive favours the ref did them.

Morgan de Sanctis:

Looking over the season, 36 points in 16 rounds are not to be sniffed at, especially as for a while now we’ve had numerous players out of action.
It's as though they think no one else has had injuries. Have they seen how ravaged our defensive line has been? Our best defender Barzagli hasn't played a single match this year. Half our defensive line has missed large portions of the year. Pirlo has been out. Vidal has been in recovery mode all year.

I wonder what Roma though there midfield was going to create today with Keita--De Rossi--Naingollan starting. There isn't an ounce of creativity there. Florenzi and Gervinho on the wings. Totti was the only creative player they had on the pitch until the late Ljajic sub, and he's old and mediocre. The result was predictable.

I don't see a problem with that midfield, many teams would be in awe, but playing Totti entire game, every game is ridiculous. Old man doesn't have legs anymore. As long as he's starting for them, Roma cannot be considered as a serious contender.

There's just no creative spark there, and very mediocre passing ability. Physically, it's a very dominant midfield, but nothing more. And they struggled today in creating out of the midfield area. Pjanic is very important to them in that regard. And Strootman is half-decent, or at least much better than the three who started today.

Roma would actually be dangerous if they bought a striker. I thought they were insane to start the season with Totti/Destro while everyone was fapping to Sabatini. What would it have taken to buy even a competent modern striker who could keep up with the rest of the team?

Imagine if they had not bought Iturbe and instead got Mandzukic or Jackson Martinez or even something less like Gignac, Pelle, Doumbia or even fucking Zaza.
