:D

Yeah, she's got just a slightly crooked smile now. Lost a headlamp. But otherwise she's still going. I think she's alright.

I was on my best driving behavior too because this was the first Cali rain in ages. My lack of anti-lock brakes (1992 technology) f'ed me when the guy on the freeway ahead of me decided to engage his anti-lock brakes as if he were driving into a wall. I could only pump my brakes manually in slow motion saying "fuuuuuuuuuu" as I inevitably slid into the rental car's rear bumper.

It's my fault, but in hindsight I don't think I could have done anything besides get a car with anti-lock brakes. (Any more space in front of me, and someone would have cut in.)
Get a dashcam. if someone cuts in and then slams the brakes, its not your fault. especially if he comes from the right

But I wasn't tailgating. There was plenty of safe distance under normal circumstances. But in hindsight, in the rain, I didn't compensate for the car ahead of me having anti-lock brakes and deciding to to whale on them all of a sudden.

Yes, you could argue that I could let others with anti-lock brakes continue to pull in front of me and I just keep fading back to keep the same space in front of the car ahead of me. But seriously? That's a lost cause where I'd ultimately have to slow down to 30 mph on a freeway.
The rule of thumb is to leave at least a two car distance on the freeway. But if traffic is going slow, then that obviously doesn't apply.

Get a dashcam. if someone cuts in and then slams the brakes, its not your fault. especially if he comes from the right
and since he lives in SF, he'll also get to record people tripping on crack and bathsalts and doing crazy shit.

Rocchi: I was wrong…

Gianluca Rocchi has admitted that his management of Douglas Maicon’s handling offence disrupted Juventus’ 3-2 victory over Roma on October 5.

The official was heavily criticised for some of his decisions during the match, which involved the awarding of two contentious penalties and a possible failure to flag the Bianconeri’s winner offside.

And despite reportedly initially standing by his decisions, Rocchi has taken the blame for the 'anomaly’ centring on the Maicon incident.

“My overseeing of the Maicon penalty was anomalous,” the referee has told Il Processo del Lunedi today.

“We can say that my management did not stabilise the situation and has created tension between the players and against the referee.

“Having reviewed the game and evaluated and revised my performance, as I always do, the most scrutiny was rightly placed on that [Maicon] incident.

“This could be key to understanding what has happened after in the game.”

And people want them to do well in Europe for the sake of the league.
I am hoping Bayern tear them a new asshole tomorrow in their shitpit of a stadium.

Thing is, when defour and nainggolan hold the midfield (as it should be), witsel has no place in the team considering hazard, de bruyne and mertens are all better on the am/w spots
That is true, but Wilmots will use Witsel over Defour when Witsel returns from injury.
Not to mention what chances you have to be the same after that kind of injury. Ability wise and psychologically.
After 1.5 season, he seemed back to his old level, Ability wise and psychologically.
