Yeah, cause at Del Piero's prime, there was Ronaldo and Zidane, and Shevchenko was better then both Henry and Raul.

Tell me RUS, what year should Del Piero have won it

Let's talk about roma:

Pallotta: "We want to make roma the best club in the world."

I say they'll sell em in 3 years and buy the Rays of the MLB.

:p

I wouldn't begrudge Roma making something of themselves, expanding fanbase abroad, bringing in new talent, building new stadium etc.

Good for the league obviously, plus they are the team I hate least out of our rivals.

I honestly think Torres will score a lot of goals in Serie A and look much better than the flop he was in Chelsea. The times I've watched Torres play with Chelsea he has always been really good, created a lot, worked his ass off and done good things. The only thing that was terrible was the finishing, it's like he had a mental block in that department. In Italy where there is no pressure on him at this point and with the slower pace I have a feeling he will look much better as long as he can stay healthy. Guy just turned 30, he's not over the hill when it comes to age either.

Roma will be fine I think, they have a lot of young assets that they can cash in on any time. It's not like they have an old team like Milan or Inter had before they declined.

:agree: I think he'll do well this season, infact I can see him be atleast among top 3 goal scorers in Serie A
