Higuain, Andujar attacked
By Football Italia staff

Napoli’s Gonzalo Higuain and Mariano Andujar were reportedly attacked by their own fans while driving home after the defeat to Lazio on Sunday.

The Vesuviani were beaten 4-2 at the Stadio San Paolo in Rafa Benitez’s last game to ensure they will miss out on Champions League football next season.

Corriere dello Sport has reported how Andujar and Higuain left the stadium together following the match in two different cars and were ambushed by around 15 men.

The goalkeeper was driving his own vehicle and had the windscreen smashed as well as damage to the bodywork, but neither player was hurt.

Higuain is believed to have been in a taxi with his brother Nico and mother Nancy when the ambush took place at traffic lights on the intersection between Via Claudio and Via Terracina.
Scum act, by scum fans of a scum club, in a scum city. Nothing to see here.

They should go to the lower divisions anyway.

I'd love to see Higuain at Arsenal. Would be a match made in heaven.
I'd like that.

Are there better options out there?

I fear Cavani is out of reach.

If Benzema were possible, he'd be great, he'd fit us more than Higuain and is in general a better player.

I haven't watched J.Martinez enough to know how good he is/if he's better than Higuain.

Can't think of any other options out there that are better than him + He's a significant upgrade over Giroud IMO.

J.Martinez is awesome, he's had a great season, I'd love to see him at Juve but will never happen.

However the reason I'd want Higuain isn't the same as yours :D
I see him providing goals, and improving your overall play, yes. But I also see him choking and demoralizing your team with his missed sitters. Hattricks vs Southhampton, and a hattrick of missed sitters vs Tottenham is what I wish :xfinger:

Yes, and replace him with that Embolo guy. So Madrid has BBC, Barca MSN, and Arsenal HOE (Higuain Ozil Embolo)
Spare the youth man!

How 'bout this

Higuain-Giovinco
Ozil
?

HOG? Would fit :D

But I could see Higuain to Arsenal happening. He reportedly was close to them anyways before he joined Napoli two years ago.

Only obstacle would probably be ADL, can't see him letting his star player go easily.

He wasn't being sarcastic about Higuain FYI. :D

Of course he's a very good player. But he has the unfortunate characteristic of choking in important games. It could still fade, he could improve that aspect. But right now it's a bit of an issue.
I don't think he chokes in big games.

I just think his chance conversion rate isn't as good as it should be for a player of his ability.

That gets shown up in a big game where he may only get one chance, but it isn't as apparent in an easy game where he can miss several chances and still get a goal or two.

Jorge Martinez is amazing.

Arsenal should definitely sign him.

Miha would never coach Milan
By Football Italia staff in 2010

Fiorentina boss Sinisa Mihajlovic says he would never consider coaching Milan one day in the future.

Speaking ahead of this weekend's trip to San Siro, the Serb drew on his past with Inter.

"I could never coach Milan," he said. "They are one of the best clubs in the world, but I played for and was a Coach at Inter. I couldn't do it out of respect towards my old fans.

"Because of who I am, I could never coach Milan, Roma, Palermo and Genoa," Mihajlovic reiterated.

Turning his attention to the game itself, Mihajlovic said: "We must change the opinion of those people who think that we are already beaten.

"We must be convinced of it otherwise we might as well stay at home. Milan with Ibrahimovic can become the favourite for the Scudetto.

"Zlatan has developed also in terms of mentality. If Milan didn't have him, how many points would they have got?

"We are a team who can put anyone in difficulty. The important thing is to play openly and not to think about being defensive like what happened in Rome."
:hihi:
