so some inter site wanted to look bright and post this pic after today's Gigi Buffon extension by saying How many scudetti do Juve have? Finally they found the right calculator.

The pic shows 30 but they didn't say it was a pic from January 2013 when we really did have 30 scudetti.

good thing we have enough italians. inter though
It'll force us to hold onto at least a few youth players, which I'm all for. I'm tired of seeing us sell every good youth we produce just to get a few million. Though I share some of the same fears that it will end up hurting the league in some ways as well... in addition to Italian players' prices skyrocketing, it's possible we could see youth being used as filler on the bench to meet the requirements which in turn would hurt their development. We'll see.

well Buffon for one had a haircut recently with a short look on the side which would explain that this picture is old

That rule is nothing to panic.
from an economic point of view there is, since the co ownership rule is going to abolished Italian clubs will be made to fork out a higher premium for Italian players just to fill the quota, rather than looking to cheap foreigners.

If this is Italy's way of addressing the lack of talent in the country they are going about it the wrong way imo

if any club is going to be royally screwed out of this I would say it will be Udinese, whilst Atalanta will probably gain most out of it as they produce more players than Barcelona even

Galliani calls for Milan-Inter XI

The Rossoneri CEO has revealed that he would love to see his club team up with their San Siro rivals to play the likes of 'Real-Atletico' in friendly games every summer

Adriano Galliani has floated the idea AC Milan joining forces with Inter to form a single side to take on mixed teams from other European cities.

Speaking ahead of Sunday's 'Derby della Madonnina' at the Giuseppe Meazza, the Rossoneri CEO revealed that he can see no reason why the San Siro rivals could not unite every summer for money-spinning exhibition games.

"Imagine setting up a 'rossonerazzurra' squad in order to challenge the representatives of all of the other cities that have derbies," the 70-year-old Galliani is quoted as saying by the Gazzetta dello Sport.

"Milan against Madrid, shall we say. Although maybe a Real-Atletico mix should be avoided at this time [because of the strength of both sides]!

"However, if you want to put on an on-field show? Maybe Barcelona? Though perhaps Espanyol are a couple of steps below Barca at the moment.

"But, in England, I would like to think of United and City coming together to create one Manchester squad.

"It would be very difficult also in this case, but for us Milanesi ..."

Galliani's idea is not a new one, as Milan and Inter have joined forces before.

Indeed, a representative XI faced DFC Prag the day after the very first 'Derby della Madonnina', which took place on September 19, 1926.

However, Milan and Inter have not united since December 17, 1980, when they were beaten 2-1 by Bayern Munich in a friendly arranged to raise money for those affected by an earthquake in the Italian region of Irpinia.
 Galliani is more and more crazy every year
