Many people in here might have missed it due to the three other massively important games today, but today was the last Serie A game of Antonio Di Natale. And like the awesome motherfucker he is he scored a hattrick.

He was my favourite player ever never to play for Juventus.

While it was a huge loss to juventus, when he rejected us and our wealthy offered wages and prospects and chose to stay with the club of his heart instead, he earned the most respect i can have for a player.

Thanks Di Natale, for all the good you gave to serie a.

over the past year? plenty of CBs had better years kompany, benatia, miranda, thiago silva, barzagli...

i actually dont see him dominating playmakers the way he used to, and to me hes not a sure value in the back
Kompany did NOT have a better year. Kompany was a beast in Mancity's league win under Mancini but has been extremely shaky and error prone ever since.

I dont disagree regarding the rest though.

Wait what, since when is it official is it his last season??? I read murmurs months ok he may not continue, but jeez, quite boring to not have an ace profile like him around anymore. He's not THAT old.

Not the most consistent of finishers, but his shooting technique and flexibility was beyond awesome
