Merda have officially confirmed Esteban Cambiasso and Diego Milito will leave after declining to offer new contracts.

These two stars of the Treble campaign in 2010 will be free agents next month, as their current deals expire on June 30.

“I speak to Cambiasso every day in an informal manner, as he is a friend,” director of sport Piero Ausilio announced in a Press conference.

“Today there was a difficult moment between him and I, as we talked about the future. Due to reasons of strategy, renewal and an Inter for young players, he will not be confirmed in the squad.

“We will not propose a new contract. He understood this and sooner or later will return to us.”

Cambiasso had hinted as much in a recent meeting with the Inter fan club, noting “you need two signatures on a contract.”

The 33-year-old Argentine arrived in July 2004, so ends a decade of service with the Nerazzurri.

Javier Zanetti is retiring – though he too had not been offered a contract renewal – while Milito is also walking away for a return to Argentina.

“We said to each other it was preferable to change, he knows that,” added Ausilio. “Milito does not represent a problem for us, as he is a professional who loves our club colours.

“I would like to win tomorrow with him as a protagonist. It would be great closure.

“When saying goodbye to such important players who built great success, it’s clearly disappointing and some might also be worried. Inter take responsibility for these decisions, even if they could be unpopular and difficult.

“We are a club looking to the future and want to open a new era

Zuniga robbed at gunpoint

It is reported Napoli and Colombia full-back Juan Camilo Zuniga was robbed at gunpoint today.
According to Il Mattino, Zuniga was in the car alongside teammate Duvan Zapata when they were approached by two men on a motorbike.
They pointed a gun at the Napoli players, forcing him to hand over his valuable watch.
This is certainly not the first time Partenopei stars have been mugged in the city, as Marek Hamsik, Valon Behrami and Ezequiel Lavezzi’s girlfriend were all robbed.

Brief intermission from the Naplitano robbery of the day: Appropiate to post it here since it started in this thread. Nicholas being Nicholas, bet with me that Milan will get a CL spot into the first half of the season (not beginning, but when he already seen they suck balls this season...), I said

And cue in with the most sure fire avatar bet of all time, and the selected avatar, despite the rigorous research into B81's fine ladyboy collection for inspiration for appropiate choice(thanks saheeb), is instead from the creative work of @piotr, and inspired by obbsession of the awful Dane that shall not be named ( wallahi he's total qanisow).

Source image/inspiration came from (yes, its worse then the smug rapist dolpin creation of Piotr :D):

@Nicholas, hope you post as much daily transfer news as possible, not because of your charmingly enthusiastic but unreliable crap :D But just to lighten my day for the coming 3 months :p

Balotelli's house burgled

Bad news for Mario Balotelli, whose house was burgled with gold, watches and a Porsche stolen.
The story emerged in La Provincia di Como, claiming his house in Limido Comasco was robbed this week.
Among the items stolen were watches and gold jewellery, plus his white Porsche S, but the vehicle was found abandoned a few hours later.
Balotelli had been out that evening with his brother Enoch Barwuah and returned to find the house broken into.
This incident comes just days after another scare when someone tried to steal Balotelli’s phone outside a nightclub, sparking a brawl as he chased the thief down.
