Can't see Roma winning vs both Milan and Fiorentina. In the worst case scenario we'll celebrate our title after the match vs Atalanta. That team you're referring to Baggio played in a much stronger competition and were very often struggling, despite arguably having more quality players, while this side has incredible percentage thus far. Can't see a side that has won averagely 2,6 points per game till now not being able to get a mere 11 point out of their 6 remaining games, 5 relatively easy ones btw.

People chill, we got this..
This is what I'm saying. Those 5 easy games on paper wouldn't appear as easy, if we are 4 points ahead of Roma for example, and know that we will be playing them away too. You are forgetting that along that path there is the Europa league which we are approaching in earnest. Two games agianst Benfica to add to a schedule with injuries on the roster, is a lot of nervous energy within the team if points are dropped. Also, you started your post talking about Roma dropping points against Milan and Fiorentina, that again, is not a given. If anything, they'll only be surging knowing we are within sight. Think of it this way.

All that said, I would much rather be where we are right now, than Roma, but please let's not assume we got dis coz Roma have a harder fixture list while we have an easy schedule. We need to factor in, that they will have a week's rest each time to recover, while we won't. We are tiring faster. Something's gotta give. It's just that I hope, that by the time we give way, it's too little too late for Roma to capitalize.
so like 60-40? do you actually believe that?
60-40 would be fair, although I'd crank that up a few notches if we beat Udinese, which Im doubting seeing our condition.

A loss will be a disaster.
Yea, I don't see how people think its ok if we lose is one. Technically, and mathematically yes, but mentally, the pressure can have a detrimental effect on our remaining games.

You're right, I shouldn't take that as a given, but neither should you take as a given that we'll drop points against minnows when so far there haven't been any indication of that. As for the injured players, it seems that we have recuperated all or most of them, Barza will be back in a few days, and Vidal's injury is apparently less serious than we initially thought and he'll be able to give his contribution till the end. Roma on the other hand will miss Destro and Benatia in the next 3-4 games, the later was particularly important for their impeccable defensive record, while the youngster seemed to be that final piece of puzzle in Roma's attack, often looking sterile through the season against teams that practice more cautious approach. IMHO win vs Udinese - and I really can't see how we could miss an opportunity like this one when Friulani have nothing to play for and we'll be motivated considering that Romans won their fixture - would seal the title for us. If anything we could have seen in the last 3 years under Conte is that this team had been excellent under pressure, often delivering when it matters.

The udinese game...i could see us win or draw it, but i'd be very surprised if we lost it.

We are playing to good recently, especially in the offensive part, to lose to such team.

And you can bet conte is going to start from a good organisation

Yea, I guess I'm just trying to say the at this stage of the season, the team with the most momentum will take maximum points. And normally, the chasing team tends to have a little more in the final surge, since they tend to play more fearlessly. The ease or difficulty of fixtures won't matter as much IMO. I wouldn't be surprised of Roma won all their remaining games. In fact, it was under Contes reign, we ended the season winning the last 10-11 games, while chasing Meelan. I think it's coz we had the momentum, even though Milan had a decent lead.

All that said though, I totally agree that if we beat Udinese, we'll be well on our way because we not only would've knocked off another game, we'll also buy ourselves a whole week of rest for an easy home game, before another hectic couple of weeks.
