2013/2014: 9 goals and 2 assits in 12 games for Liverpool so far.

I'd say those are some great stats for a striker/right winger. I'm waiting till the 'great tactical Italian youth' like Insigne or Giovinco put up some similar stats in their league.

The only thing you can say about Sturridge is that he flopped at Chelsea but which striker didn't flop there: Torres, Crespo, Pizarro and Eto'o did the same.
