Zanetti is such an overrated piece of shit. There's people on this forum who've called him a legend and put him up there with Del Piero, Totti, Baggio etc. I understand if it's someone who doesn't follow Serie A because he's been Inter's captain for a long time. But he has no skill at all. Just a fucking workhorse that can run all day long. Never had an impressive season or anything in particular that stood out. So much better fullbacks out there but for some reason everyone sucks Zanetti's cock.

I guess he's an appropriate captain for Inter but as a player he was nothing special.

I totally agree.
People praise Zanetti because he plays long time on a good level, but much better defensive players played in Serie A, so I dont get all this hype around an average player who has great stamina.
