I still find it funny and don't see any club pay close to that. He's a player I would of liked to have here but not at his current wages. I'm happy they gave him a lot so it could influence the wages from the other napoli players. They'll have some trouble with wages in a few year I think.

They'll just sell Hamsik and Higuain and buy another couple for €25m on less wages, their model is different to ours but works well. Keeping the team competitive doing that is a risk, however. There is no guarantee you're going to get the same output from every big signing.

:agree:

Also it isn't smart, they will still end up selling Zuniga for 7ml some point down the track. Release clauses mean jack for players like that.

Actually it seems to me he knows how to do business, if someone wants to buy him they have to pay a lot. He is protecting his players and showing them their value to the team.
:agree:
Extremely good business man! Look at where they are at now, and the way the club is handled. If things continue this way Napoli will be very relevant in Europe imo.

No one will and that's the point, they want him to stay because they believe he is good for their goals and he undertands that and it will motivate him. Then again if he shines some rich team might splash the cash on him.

I know, I can't stand them and I can't stand them even more because they seem to know how to operate. It's only wishful thinking when some say that they will eventually fail. Just like they said that Benitez will destroy them and without Cavani they will fight for relegation.

I have no hate for Napoli they just whiney bitches and I sincerely hope either them, Roma or Lazio to overcome the Milanese teams. I want 2 of those three teams to get consistent CL over the Whore Sisters.

That's the idea, high release clause because they don't want to sell unless someone offer irrational amount of money.

I don't hate Benitez. He's not a whiner and crier like Mazzarri but that naples club is annoying. Especially their Prez and fans. I hope they continue winning close to nothing although like you guys say they are in a good situation right now.
