Koscielny is a decent player but everytime i see him play he manages to cause a penalty/score an own goal/make a deflection 'Bonucci from previous season' style.

I had the same impression about him a few seasons ago but just like Bonucci he has improved in leaps and bounds.No wonder Bayern and barca were interested in signing him but he declared that he will stay on with Arsenal.He is one of their more important players now.Great in the air,fast,very good man marker and has formed a formidable partnership with Mertesacker at the back.Statistically they had the 2nd best defense in EPL last year.The problem in this Arsenal team is taht they have no recognizable DM and imo they dont offer much protection as they should.

Actually i just checked Arsenal's games this season. They had 3 penalty calls against them in 4 games - 2 caused by Koscielny.

I watched one of those games(against Villa i think) and that pen was a bit unjust imo.

I also remember his brilliant performance against Barca three years ago but those were the times he used to consistently make mistakes but now ,he seems to have reduced those and has become a more matured defender.

I see some of these alleged 'Scudetto contenders' are already having their false title credentials exposed for what they really are.

Obviously, anyone who thinks winning a third straight Scudetto would be a walk in the park is wrong. But to say it is currently a six-horse race is equally stupid.

I however have nothing against the great hype surrounding some of our so called challengers as shifting the attention away from us can only do Juventus good right now.
