That moron was motherfvckin hilarious. The poor guy got jeered and made fun of sooo much by our fans that in the end he had zero confidence.
I remember at one game (against Siena I think) the ball was out and he tried to pass the ball to Gigi, but instead he hit the corner flag from like 1meter or something. And the idiot ran away like nothing's happened, and Giorgio had to run all the way back and get the ball for Buffon.

Marquinhos? Really? Yes he's a promising young defender but a star player, surely not. Roma made an absolute killing off that transfer.

Jovetic has been replaced by a much better player (and bigger name) Cavani is a loss to Serie A yes, but two great strikers have been brought into the league in Tevez and Llorente.

he is no star yet but it just shows that italian clubs cant keep hold of their best players/most talented ones... its not like you find a pogba and co every day. btw i left juve out of it just because we are on our own league... even though i wouldn't call llorente a star signing. jojo gomez could have been an amazing partnership. and also serie a clubs ( and that includes us) need to get lucky to get atleast some star names a la tevez and gomez. only when they are unhappy or benched they got a shot....

so all in all i don't see the different to the years before. i mean nearly every big player/ high valued especially non italian player has already left. we need to get some fucking cash in the next years to sign the fuck out of this league... so that atleast we can benefit from it.

They choose not to because teams are offering insane amounts of money for players.

That's a very different scenario from being stuck in a situation where you are forced to sell players as soon as someone makes a half decent offer for them.

If other clubs want to overpay players it's their choice. I'm glad Italians are taking the advantage of it. One Marquinhos sold for 35M can be replaced with even better player at half of that fee.

It can work both ways though. Napoli and Fiorentina have used that ridiculous money to build their squads, and build for a more sustainable future.

Really, what this league needs badly is for most teams to have new stadiums. It would help the clubs in terms of revenue and would provide a better spectacle for fans at the games and on TV. Would probably be able to attract better offers for the overseas TV rights deals as well.

That's a very different scenario from being stuck in a situation where you are forced to sell players as soon as someone makes a half decent offer for them.

of course its a different scenario. still those players want to move to bigger clubs or get better wages. and most of the money earned is either to pay off debt or some 10-15 mil okayish players. i mean years ago pastore lavezzi and co wouldn't have left serie a. and today its jojo cavani and co. so i don't see the rise of the league to be honest. most clubs are dead broke and can't attract big players. and to be honest other than juve i don't see an italian team doing well in europe.
and i thank god we got lucky with tevez cause i could even see us ending up with none
