I really hope that we get three Serie A teams into the group stage this year, and that they are able to add enough to their squad depth to keep up this high level of play. The past few years too many Italian teams have either lost their qualifier or been stretched too thinly by European football and ended up performing too badly in the league to get into the Champions League the year after. And then of course they lose their best players and need to start all over again.

The rest of Serie A needs to get its shit together. Napoli, Roma and Fiorentina have an excellent opportunity to build their teams up and stay ahead of Milan and Inter.
