People should stop saying we have. We need to keep focus. Roma is pulling an endsprint like we did in 2011/2012 so far..

Napoli is a level above our other competitors when it comes down to intensity and sheer pace and quality. When they are motivated as fuck, they are by a very large distance our hardest opponent to face.

Meeting this opponent with a tired team, not in the best form, missing its star forward and best defender, makes it even harder
They always play their best against us, we still have not beaten them at the San Paolo under Conte. Same for Genoa, those bastards always make is so hard for us to beat them in Genoa but then they bend over for the rest of the league. I swear if they played the same way they play against us against the rest of Serie A they would be in a much higher position.

You can also say how Pogba is very young, which kinda helps our cause, but that doesn't hide the obvious.

Our average age is worrying, without a doubt. Just look how old will Chiellini, Licht, Barzagli, Pirlo and Tevez will be next season. Pretty much majority of our key players. There are also some that will leave like Mirko and Quag. And some others not so important like Peluso and Padoin.
It's nothing to worry about just now, but it is something to be aware of because you don't want to allow yourself to get into a situation where you suddenly feel you have to replace several important players at the same time.

Lichtsteiner is the one that you mention that I'd be monitoring closely. He covers so much ground that he can't really afford to lose much by way of pace or stamina. And when his deterioration will come is very hard to predict. Some players can't hack it when they are 32-33 while some freaks barely seem to deteriorate before 36-37.

Anyway, classic shit mentality from Napoli to follow up a big win with such a shit performance.

They played too narrow for the most part, which made it easy for Parma to block them by simply clogging up the middle of the pitch.

On the rare occasion they did get a player wide, he would just cut back or inside and so wasn't really helping to stretch Parma and create space.

Napoli might be able to play like that when Maggio and Zuniga are fit, but with the fullbacks they have just now, they really need at least one of their wingers to hold wider and actually try to beat his man on the outside otherwise they are just going to be waiting for errors and counter-attacks to get the space to create chances.

How are we the oldest? All of our players are in their mid to late 20's and Buffon and Pirlo are the only ones that are over 30.

Cagliari is set to sack Diego Lopez and hire Ivo Pulga according to Football Italia.

On the topic of Cagliari, I heard an American group wants to purchase Cagliari and completely renovate the Stadio Sant'Elia. Would be great for the club and the league. Looks like Cagliari is catching some attention now.

It's the oldest squad, rather than the oldest team, apparently.

It'll be because Juve have guys like Peluso, Padoin, Quagliarella, Rubinho padding out the squad where most teams would have kids.

I'm telling you Pirlo and Buffon are adding to that stat. And Buffon is a goalie, age is irrelevant for him, while Pirlo can maintain the same level for a few more years as his game is hardly affected by age. Add to that our reserves and you can get the wrong picture of our current state.

We are loosing bc we have no energy left in the fucking tank. Our mf is exhusted and if they dont recover its gonna cost us the scudetto.
league still sticky in my book...couple more fuckups and we're shitting bricks..and with our form, couple fuckups are very likely
No we haven't won the league already.

Im not worried but I wasn't expecting us to be the oldest. Always thought City or Bayern have a more older squad. On Serie A, it doesnt matter. We are here to dominate this league with the current team for the next twoyears. But in Europe its really disappointing, but as much as you gloat about our scouting system, Pogba was a mistake from Ferguson rather than our scouting brilliance. Any other names to the list of scouting brilliance?
There's a lot of wrong things in this spot. First of all, you thought of Bayern and City to have an older squad, but I suppose that you wouldn't have commented on them with a desperate "Damn" like you did about us.

And what does it change in your perspective, once you've known the official numbers? The players you knew change? The age of the squad members change? No.

A guy previously posted our starting line-up and it's far from old. We already have great replacements, like it or not, for Pirlo (Marchisio), Barzagli (Caceres, Ogbonna that still has the quality of a great defender despite of the people who insult him, but he's far better for Bonucci at his age for example and it's one of the most promising defenders out there, and will likely spend a lot of time here, also because of his great attitude can become a longeve value), Buffon (Leali is great, and Scuffet will likely be ours thank to the great Marotta relationships with Udinese and the interest shown), who are the only plyers who may need a replacement in the short term, and we could get others easily with the great board we have. If you count the reserves, we may have "the older squad" (however I think this stat is wrong), but there are teams that are way older. Just look at Barça, four of their most important players are over 30 (and they also have that transfer ban, lol), name Iniesta, Xavi, Alves or Valdes. I don't like this "passion" to try to find problems in the team even when the things are going well and there aren't actually. It's unexplainable this crybaby attitude when you support, or claim to support such a team. I don't find the point of it. And stop underrating Serie A Jesus Christ, who's still one of the most competitive leagues out there for the medium level of the 20 teams, even if they there may not be Cristianos or Messis. Here when you look at the 10th team in the table you find Cerci and Immobile, and in the team fighting for relegation you find Paulinho, Berardi, and so on. In other leagues, you find just utter shit. I hate to talk always future-like, but you'll see that the three italian teams next year in CL will be able to spread terror for every single team. Like they did these year, after all, but Europa League was screaming for us so bad.

Then, if it's me that have to tell you about our youngsters, then it's you who follow the team superficially and it's not my interest really to explain something obvious and known.
