Carlo Ancelotti’s best XI

Only three Italians are included in Carlo Ancelotti’s dream team of players he has coached down the years.

Talking to The Times, the tactician was asked to construct a side from those he has worked with during spells at Parma, Juventus, Milan, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain. Stars from his current Real Madrid side were not permitted.

Only the present Juventus duo of Gigi Buffon and Andrea Pirlo, plus Milan legend Paolo Maldini, are the Italians who made the starting XI.

Ancelotti’s best XI: Buffon; Cafu, Terry, Thiago Silva, Maldini; Lampard, Pirlo, Zidane; Kaka; Shevchenko, Ibrahimovic.

Substitutes: Cech; Cole, Nesta; Gattuso, Seedorf; Drogba, Inzaghi.
-----------------------------------
It's not too strange that he didn't find space for Henry, since the Frenchman was sold to Arsenal while Carlo was our coach, but it's pretty strange that he didn't find space for Del Piero.

Notice that 6 out of 11 are Milan players, naturally since he spent most of his coaching career in Milan. And Juve was kinda long time ago for him.

Benching Nesta for the over-rated cuntbag John Terry :howler: Carvalho is and will always be the better defender than that over-rated English cunt.

No Del Piero, but he puts that faggot Inzaghi in there  No Trez as well?!

Yesterday:

Milan, chaos without end: Balotelli 10 minutes late for training, Robinho 38! Allegri furious and Tuesday's Celtic

Today:

According to Gazzetta 5 players were late to training today.
I know Robinho was too, but do you know who else was late?

Terry and Thiago Silva ahead of Nesta?

Ancelotti has lost it.

Boban: "In Milan of my time Balotelli would carry bags for van Basten, Weah and Scheva. He's late for training? He would get slapped by the likes of Maldini, Rossi and Baresi."

Last 5 seasons

Punti Milan: 70+82+80+72+14=318
Punti Juventus: 55+58+84+87+34=318

...

39 - AC Milan fired 39 shots vs Genoa, more than any other side in the top-5 Euro Leagues since Man City vs QPR in May 2012. Pother.

Most shots on goal Scudetto
Uh, oh -- five-year-Scudetto now slipping away, Milan has to make a grab for the most-shots Scudetto. :pado:

reminds you of anyone?
The spirit of Delneri is alive in you, son. :agree:

Tuttosport's headline: Ritardelli
:D

We have been in the Champions League for 11 out of the last 12 years. - Adriano Galliani
Another Scudetto created out of thin air. Where does he keep coming up with these?

Merdazzuri fans already asking for Ronaldo. :D

First day on the job and he's already a failure.

Boban would know about that. carrying bags I mean
Yeah he wasn't always a first choice, especially in his later days, but he remained professional until the end and that was the point. He also mentions Kaka and how in spite of the fact that he accomplished everything during his career, he still works very hard and should be an example to follow. Balotelli simply has the wrong attitude and I think he'll never change, even though I find him to be an excellent footballer. Some players are like that.

Did he really coach Buffon? Didn't we have Van Der Sar during his spell?

Seedorf benched for Lampard?! Nesta on the bench?! Come on man. I wonder if Cristiano is butthurt for not being included. :D
