Milan usually start off like this but then become good after Christmas, however the quality is too high in Serie A this season and I fail to see them clawing back so many points if the likes of Roma and Fiorentina keep winning.

Both Napoli and Juventus will certainly get top three, Roma on current form look a certainty too. Will this year be the year both Milan clubs finish outside the top three?

Comparing our season with the last one, it's almost like a copy/paste.

In both seasons we had a 9-1-1 record after 11 rounds. In both seasons we scored 23 goals. The small difference is in the defense, where we conceded 8 goals in 11 rounds last year, while this year we conceded 10.
Just like last year, we started the season by scoring 4 goals and winning the Super Cup.
Even in CL there are lots of similarities. We drew away to the outsiders from Denmark, both this and last year. In both seasons we drew at home to the, on paper, third best team in the group. Basically, the only important difference from last year and this year is our result away to the group favorites. We played 2:2 against Chelsea last year, while this time we didn't manage to score that second goal and we lost 2:1 in Madrid. Chiellini's red card is the biggest difference of the two seasons.
Our goal record after 15 matches (11 in serie a, 1 in supercoppa, 3 in CL) is almost the same. 31:14 last year, 31:15 this year.

Still, even if the numbers are almost the same, things looked a bit better last year. It's due to the fact that in serie A there are two other teams who are doing just as good or better, while last year noone was doing as good as we did after 11 rounds. In CL that 1 point less is putting us in an even more uncomfortable situation, compared to the bad situation we were in after the opening 3 rounds last year.
