Hmmmm do we need to be taking inter seriously this year?

It's amazing the difference a good coach can make. All due respect to Mazzarri he's done incredibly well everywhere he's been. It's good to see serie a more competitive though
Napoli, Inter, Roma, Fiorentina and Milan have to be taken seriously and all those who think that the title is a walk in the park need a reality check.

I find it funny that now all of a sudden you added Napoli to the equation.
Napoli are much better than teams like Inter and Fiorentina, so they will be ahead of them. Quality wise they are closer to us than they are to the rest of the league. But they won't be able to seriously push for the scudetto till the very end. As the season grows older, results like the one from yesterday will become more common for them. They can't rotate and not lose points. We can, they can't. They rested starters on two matches, and they almost failed to win both. And if they want to stay in the race longer, they will be forced to rotate as they do right now. If they don't rotate, they risk having a repeat of the 2011/12 season and to collapse come February.

It certainly won't be a walk in part but the title is ours to lose.
Only when we pull our head out or asses and start playing like we are supposed to, so far we have been extremely lucky.

What you are saying is true only when we are playing at our level, so far we haven't reached that, we are way way below our potential and I don't see how we are going to wake up. Last season the loss against Inter did it.

I noticed that Conte and Benitez are using every chance to rest some players. In the last 3 weeks they hardly started a match with more than 7 same players from the previous match. It comes strange to many, since it's September, and fatigue shouldn't be an issue. But maybe they just want to spread the energy throughout the season. It was easy to notice that come March/April, the Italian teams were physically not up to the level of the other big teams in Europe, so perhaps Conte and Rafa want their teams to be in excellent shape for the last third of the season?

Jack is allways negative, but he's totally right here.

Inter has put a surprisingly good organisation, but against good teams it envites a more defensive approach
Milan should take fucking notice

Inter will grab many points this season
I am not, if I don't go saying all the time how great we are and how easily we will win the trebble it does not mean I am negative. The fact is we have been scraping results and our opponents are much much much stronger than the previous years.

Well that was another fine example from Fiorentina as to why they won't really achieve anything.

They are just far too soft and give up too many dangerous counter-attacks.

The defending from them on the Inter goals was pathetic.

Would like to hear an explanation from the referee as to why Juan wasn't sent off.

Youare allways negative. As i'm allways trying to be a realist.
Its not a bad thing, definatly in this forum where one half wears pink glasses, and the other is to buzy dreaming/demanding the impossible
Trying to be a realist, i totally agree with what you stated. Just wondering when Milan can pick up themselves.

I said before the season started, that all top teams had improved their roster remarcably well. And that Roma was goddamn solid in every line. I said inter was less good, but mazzarri as a coach is a huge upgrade over strama.

Now, the most important thing, is good games like this, AND good games in europe. FFS show that class in europe goddamn

He got lucky, one of the worst things about him is that he makes a lot of stupid fouls especially in the box. He really needs to work on that if he wants to have a decent career.

It's very hard to play 3 games a week with the same players. We have no choice we have to rotate the squad and give every body game time. Inter have the advantage we had 2 years ago, no EL helps a lot when you are trying to make top 3 it makes a big difference.

don't know about you but i feel that fiorentina are overrated some what, not saying they are a bad team but they are sure not CL spot contenders, mentally they are far too weak compared to their rivals.

Merda looking the goods so far - still hoping there'll be a massive fall from grace for them at some stage during the season, when Mazzari starts blaming the world for their problems. Even Napoli, Benetiz doesn't convince me, somehow he'll help them choke at some stage. But one thing's for sure, Juve has to lift their game massively if they're to maintain their title.

Inter have impressed me much more than Napoli have so far tbh. The whinging, whining cunt Mazzari really has fixed that team up, especially defensively. They will be a contender this season, no doubt about it.

I don't know about mentally weak, but they are physically weak.

Those non-challenges by Aquilani for the first goal and Fernandez for the second are woeful.

They can compete for the last CL spot, but that's the most they can possibly aspire to.

They risk falling into the trap of being labelled a fantastic footballing side and buying into their own hype - forgetting that to win you need to compete physically in order to win games.
