That's a very cool story, bro. Do you have any more of them?
I check into small hotel a few kilometers from Kiev. It is late. I am tired. I tell woman at desk I want a room. She tells me room number and give key. “But one more thing comrade; there is one room without number and always lock. Don’t even peek in there.” I take key and go to room to sleep.

Night comes and I hear trickling of water. It comes from the room across. I cannot sleep so I open door. It is coming from room with no number. I pound on door. No response. I look in keyhole. I see nothing except red.

Water still trickling. I go down to front desk to complain. “By the way who is in that room?” She look at me and begin to tell story.

There was woman in there. Murdered by her husband. Skin all white, except her eyes, which were red.

I tell her I don’t give a ****. Stop the water trickling or give me refund. She gave me 100 ruble credit and free breakfast.
Such is life in Moscow

I had a little fun with the individual club coefficients and calculated the bag of points every club brings to the table when they're playing in Europe. UEFA adds a [country coef that season/5] every season to every club in the league (for example, Catania's UEFA coef will be 12,828 even if they haven't been in Europe past 5 years), so Points* is the clubs points minus that country addition, or the points every club actually earned, I used these to calculate points per season. Make of it what you will, I'd say Serie A should ban Napoli from the EL.. :p

The way Milan has been playing lately, wouldn't be surprised if they lose tomorrow. Scrapy 1-0 win for Napoli and the race for Scudetto is wide open again.

Botta: 'Inter's Messi and Di Maria'
By Football Italia staff

Ruben Botta is looking forward to his summer transfer to Inter. “I compare myself with Leo Messi and Angel Di Maria,” explained the midfielder.

The 23-year-old Argentine was wanted by numerous top clubs in Europe, but has agreed a five-year contract with the Nerazzurri.

“My father Ismael was a player and now works as a Coach, so I started playing when I was very young at San Juan,” the Tigre star told the Corriere dello Sport.

“I started out as a trequartista, because I always liked to 'create’ something, or I can play as a support striker or out wide. I think I give my best in the final third, as I can unbalance opposition defences with my technique.

“I also consider myself a player who helps out his teammates a lot in winning back the ball. I became accustomed to it here at Tigre, where everyone has to sacrifice themselves for the good of the team.”

Some have compared Botta to PSG talent Ezequiel Lavezzi, but he sees a very different idol.

“Pocho is a great player, but he bases a lot of his game on physicality and pace, whereas I focus on technique and ability. Even when I am being tightly marked, I am not afraid of the one-on-one. The defender doesn’t know what I’m going to do.

“I say this will all due respect, but in terms of style I think I am closer to Messi than Lavezzi. If we were to play together, I could give him so many assists.

“In Argentina many of the journalists say my style is similar to Di Maria and I do think we have a lot of common ground.

“I am ready for Serie A, without doubt. My personality both on and off the field enables me to adapt quickly to new situations.

“I’m coming from a very competitive tournament and one that perhaps has more pressure than the European Leagues. This is why I think I am mature enough to face this new professional experience.

“My objective is to adapt as quickly as possible to what the Coach asks of me and the team.”

There are reports Lazio Coach Vladimir Petkovic could be given a contract extension with new Sir Alex Ferguson style powers.
The tactician has been a sensation since arriving as a relative unknown last summer, taking the Biancocelesti to the Coppa Italia Final, Europa League quarter-final and currently fifth in Serie A.
His current contract is due to expire in June 2014, but President Claudio Lotito is already working on an extension with wage increase on his €600,000 deal.
The more important aspect of the contract would be to give Petkovic a more directorial role in the style of long-term Premier League managers like Ferguson and Arsene Wenger.
This is unheard-of in Serie A, where Coaches have very little input on the transfer strategy.

Like Petkovic has any hope of being given those powers. Ferguson has been there for a lifetime and earned the right to control the whole playing side of the club.
