Yuto Nagatomo’s season could be over after he was diagnosed with torn meniscus ligaments in his knee.

The Japanese international sprained his knee during the 1-1 draw against Milan on Sunday evening.

Tests have shown a lesion to the meniscus capsule ligaments, the external meniscus and a small radial lesion to the lip of the external meniscus.

A statement from Inter confirmed Nagatomo underwent the tests today at the Policlinico San Matteo in Pavia under the supervision of Professor Franco Combi.

It is not yet clear how long the full-back will be out for, but it is thought to be several weeks.

Both as right and left wingback. He was totally raped in first half vs Milan for example, De Sciglio had such a field day that Guarin had to be told to play as a fullback with Nagatomo to cope.

in an attempt to prevent myself from doing anything productive i had a look at the rest of the season for juve and napoli:

matchday in red -> (potential) juve cl game before
opponent in red -> (potential) opponent cl/el game before

rating basically is 1-5. i tried to factor in current table position, current form and home/away-form but i really wasn´t sure several times. any corrections?
i always added +1 for away games. not very happy with inter/milan ratings.
Well done, but Roma away in the last round for Napoli is not likely a 4. Roma will in all likeliness have nothing to play for, other than not letting Juve win the title. I'd call that a 1.

wing back? he played as a right back in the first half, i believe nagatomo would be our best wingback if he joined us.
I said wingback since they experimented with 3 man back line for part of the season. But RWB or RB, not too different in scheme of things for Inter. Either way he has been awful, and no he wouldn't be our best wingback, he is better dribbler then Licht, but that's it.

You saw him vs Milan and still want him?

their 3 men experience was short lived, nagatomo is not as good defensively or physically as licht but hes a smart player who offers a lot offensively
