Unusually atrocious passing out from defence by Lazio there.
Cagliari did make it awkward for them in that regard by playing Nainggolan as a trequartista, so Ledesma was never going to get time and space on the ball, but Lazio's passing was still terrible.
Dias also seemed to be playing in lead boots. He's slow enough at the best of times, but coming off an injury he was just ridiculously cumbersome.
With their passing out of defence being so poor, Lazio were never really in a position to move the ball around fast enough to find space, what with Cagliari being a well organised side.
Once Cagliari brought on Cossu and Nainggolan dropped deeper, Lazio were able to get something resembling a rhythm to their play, but you'd still be hard pushed to claim they deserved to win the game.
Nice to see a penalty given for the challenge by Agazzi on Klose. I've never understood why goalkeepers generally seem to be immune from being punished for late challenges.
