Lets hope white players do the same when fans shout they're going to rape their wives etc

There's no condoning racism but football players are in a profession that highlights them as potential targets of abuse. Wrongly so, however they cannot just walk off the field.

If a Copper starting getting shouted at should he walk off his shift?
Totally different...

That doesn't make any sense. Black players are being targetted for their natural looks - fucking families, raping wifes etc. is something general that can be used against any player, regardless of the natural lottery.

I'm thinking about making "Serie A Team of 2012" video and I was just wondering if I could get some people's input. If you don't mind, would some of you just write down the starting 11 that you think was the overall best in the 2012 calendar year. Not the 11/12 season. Would mean alot. Thanks

How so, are white players immune to racist comments? Or does racism only apply to black players?
What do black people have against white people that can be used in a racistic sense? Cracker? They didn't drag us around in chains for hundreds of years, it was the other way around.

So if a black person called me, white trash. That isn't deemed as racism?

Sure it is, but it's hardly harmfull to you is it? The reason white on black racism is so powerfull is because it draws connotations back to not so long ago when they were defined as animals and exploited for nothing but their physical labour.

Yeah, I don't really think we should discuss this.

Racism is racism. You cannot say one aspect is more powerful than the other, as every person reacts differently.
Yes you can. You're a white male, what on earth does anyone have on you to make you feel uncomfortable? Perhaps your lack of girth and lenght, but that's about the only thing.

If Kasaki calls me a cracker I should feel as insulted as he should feel if I call him a nigger. :lol2:

I don't think you're likely to see a block of 500 Nigerians in the stadio at Reggiana dancing very badly when Filippo Antonelli runs down the wing.
+rep

If we completely ignore 4 centuries of modern history, yes racism is racism, being called a monkey or a cracka is exactly the same.
Look above, we have reached symbiosis :dule:

Marchetti
Lichtsteiner - Barzagli - Chiellini - Balzaretti
Vidal - Pirlo - Marchisio
Hamsik
Cavani - Di Natale

Franky, too many Juventus' players.

The likes of De Rossi, Boateng, Montolivio were too disappointing to get selected.
