“Pato asked us to allow him to go back to Brazil,” the former Prime Minister noted. “He’ll join Corinthians, but with the promise that he’ll return to us in the future.”
When asked about a new striker for January, 34-year-old Drogba and Roma’s Osvaldo were told they can stay with their respective clubs.
“They are too old for us,” he continued. “After 26 years, we’ve put a stop to spending crazy money in order to build a young side for the next 10 years.
“We need two or three years to become competitive in Italy and the world again.”
Manchester City’s Italian international Balotelli is seemingly young enough for Milan’s new project, but maybe not mature enough for the Diavolo owner.
“Balotelli doesn’t convince me as a man, but I’d definitely sign Roma’s Mattia Destro…”

Which village team were they facing? Kudos on his teammates following him out that quickly. Even if its easier to do it in meaningless friendly.

Pro Patria

And yes, I was thinking about what would happen in a Serie A game and how the referee and his colleagues handle that. I remember Roberto Carlos (?) storming off in a game once in Russia after a banana was thrown, I don't think the game stopped though.

It didnt, it didnt happen with Zoro either, or when Eto'o was pissed too, they do everything possible to keep it going. But no one is fussed to stop a player from doing this in a friendly. In Serie A ref would prolly done something as dumb as reprimand Boateng for walking out.

If the entire team walks out like that, the rules say that the other team win 3-0.

I'm all for black players walking out when this happens though, it's the only way things are going to change.

Lets hope white players do the same when fans shout they're going to rape their wives etc

There's no condoning racism but football players are in a profession that highlights them as potential targets of abuse. Wrongly so, however they cannot just walk off the field.

If a Copper starting getting shouted at should he walk off his shift?

Well yeah, the fans use the easiest way possible to get to which player they choose. With black players it's easy.

Racism is a big issue basically because fellow humans were treated as sub-human for hundreds of years, and that will only change after hundreds of years of equality.
