would mean Boateng is going to play as a CM? I dont think he's disciplined enough for that role.

their problems are everywhere, CB's are cack, FB's offer nothing going forward, CM lacks creativity and there's no real goal threat upfront.
Isn't that what he was initially?

I know Kaka isn't gonna be a saviour for them, but at least he is an actual playmaker. They're in a mess regardless.

Lost his bursts of energy because of the injuries he's received, so he's declining as a player, has one of the largest salaries in the world, getting old.

You'd think they'd focus time and resources on a new generation after losing so many club legends in one summer.
Agreed, he's declining but... He's still one hell of a footballer, though, and he will be for another couple of years at least.

That said .... why on earth would he want to join the current mess that is AC Milan?

I guess they just don't have the resources or management competent enough for that, so any signing now would be a panic one.

He loves Milan and is loved there, he's not important at Real Madrid. Restart his career in a familiar environment where he was at his best.

Lets not kid ourselves, this is only one game and Milan is still a very attractive club, just like Juve was after the Delneri era. Zlatan and Thiago seemed to want to stay.

They do if they want Kaká.

As a club they are still attractive, but Cassano got really pissed and left because there was no real "project" in place. He was promised this, and felt betrayed. They're in a complete mess at the moment, and aren't really building a proper team.
