Imo Milan's season depends on their injury record, if somehow they keep it low and give up CL, i can still see them being a threat, if it's not the case, they're fighting for the third spot max, no depth in that squad whatsoever, they got like 18 good/decent players, out of whom 4-5 are always injured. Inter and Napoli will be there to annoy us, possibly Udinese or Lazio. My wild guess at midtable teams is Fiorentina who might be the surprise this season, they left a very good impression yesterday, Montella is hell of a coach, no European commitments or big expectations from fans and they do have quality in midfield and upfront.

Inter's line-up:

12 Castellazzi; 4 Zanetti, 6 Silvestre, 23 Ranocchia, 55 Nagatomo; 21 Gargano, 19 Cambiasso, 14 Guarin; 10 Sneijder, 99 Cassano; 22 Milito.
are they playing that christmas tree formation ?

------------castellazzi
zanetti -silvestre-ranocchia-nagatomo
-------guarin-cambiasso-gargano
---------cassano-sneijder
--------------milito

That wouldn't be good for Sneijder.

Like Red said, I can't see how Cassano and Sneujder can play at the same time.

I don't expect him to do that :D
They are going to be easy to beat on the counter then.

i'm kinda sure it's 4312, would suit both Sneijder and Cassano more than christmas tree. I expect Pescara to give them some trouble, Inter got a tough midfield three, but if they can stretch it then they'll be up against a very shaky defense.

Lost his bursts of energy because of the injuries he's received, so he's declining as a player, has one of the largest salaries in the world, getting old.

You'd think they'd focus time and resources on a new generation after losing so many club legends in one summer.
Plus the option they get to buy him for (I guess €20m-€25m) will take up their entire budget for next summer, at which time he'll be another year older.
