Does the footballing world only revolve around Italy? Its just ridiculous how many Italian players they've taken in one year. There is something called football in Spain, Germany and England too. How about stealing their stars by offering them 15m a season instead.

The only italian player they bought are Sirigu (and soon Verratti? I dont really consider Motta italian...), but rest are Serie A players yeah, and they are buying quality from a market they know (and thats its easier to buy from, as I said Serie A clubs are financially weaker and more likely to be sellers), its not that hard to understand.

P.S I edited out the rest of your post because melodrama like that is irrelevant to me, yeah the league is getting weaker, but give me a fucking break acting like its some revelation...

You are right. PSG's transfers definitely have to do with the strong influence of Leonardo and Ancelotti. I can't help thinking that with, say, Valdano and Del Bosque there, PSG would have been more concentrated on La Liga players.
In any case, this is somewhere between what you and Osman are saying. The Italian teams are in terrible financial situation and they are looking for these big spenders to contact them, but without the strong serie A influence in PSG, many of the departed serie A players would have played in Italy next year, instead of France.

As far as it concerns Juve, I think this can be terrible for us, but also it could turn out to be fantastic in the end. One on side, which is a strong possibility, the decrease of quality in the league can have very bad consequences on Juve too. Maybe not terrible consequences, since we can see that Bayern manage to survive at the top 5 in Europe even with a weak and unattractive league, but negative consequences nevertheless. On the other side, if Serie A manages to return from the dead in 3,5, 10 years and it becomes strong again, the consequences of the bad period will be behind the league and Juve as part of the league, but it will allow us (Juve) to win a loooot during this bad period where we seem to be the only financially stable team. Then, hopefully, all that people will remember is that Juve has 36 scudetti, double more than their rivals. Then again, this last part might be nothing more than wishful thinking, but I do have hope that serie A will be back from the dead. Football is simply too big for this nation. We can do nothing now but take advantage of the bad situation Milan and Inter are in.
Bayern Munchen you say? Those guys have been hindered for years and years by their shitty league. Bundesliga has been holding them back and if they were in any other place they'd be much better, much richer and a much more attractive destination. Problem is that players don't want to compete in a league like Bundesliga that is in the shadows. And thats exactly what I think Serie A will do to Juventus. The only way to get a quality player out of Spain or England is by offering him shitloads of money, think Ribery or Zlatan. Juventus has never been a team to pay a player 10m per season and they've always relied on their name and their league. But now, the league ain't shit and nobody wants to spend their best years in a league in the shadows without even getting paid a monster salary for it. I honestly see nothing good for Juventus in the deteriorating state of Serie A. And lets not even talk about how Serie A could get us to lose players like Vidal because he wants to test himself against the best.

I swear, its like you can't have a discussion. We're having a real discussion about the state of the league, anything wrong with that?
Is this what you call a discussion? I swear, sometimes I could actually picture you panicking while you type.

No, Suns, if the rest of the league is shit, it's great for Juve, you see? Makes perfect sense.
Not in the long run, and I guess you'd like success in the Champions?
Is this what you call a discussion? I swear, sometimes I could actually picture you panicking while you type.
Why do you always have to make it personal? Honestly, there is no need for that. If you don't agree with what I'm saying, either stick to the discussion and tell me why or just don't and let it be. No need to start talking about me.

Week league equals a less competitive league, we ought to be testing ourselves against tough opposition as much as possible. Being a big fish in a small pond is not a prospect that we should relish in.

Maybe, and it's generally true that a better league offers better perspectives. But in this particular case I think that a weaker Bundesliga is a blessing in disguise for Bayern. They always rely on "the best of Germany". Richer and better German teams will only be competition to Bayern for the best German players i.e the base of Bayern's success.

The same does go for Juve. It's the domestic players that we rely on. Personally I don't like it. I want Juve to be competitive on the market for the best players in the world, not just the best Italians, but I don't necessarily see a disaster for Juve as a result of a piss poor serie A. I think we can actually stand as the best in Italy and the only Italian team that can compete well in Europe and keep its best players the way Bayern does.
