I don't mind Pazzini in a 'squad'. He can get on the occasional streak and his heading/spring ability is better than all our other strikers combined. Unlike say Matri, who is ok as a starter, but when he comes on as a sub, I'm hardly anticipating anything special.

Matri came on a sub and scored (twice, one was wrongly disallowed) against Meelahn at the San Siro. Also came on against Palermo and got an assist.

I feel Matri is unfairly underrated by most on this forum. He is no way the greatest striker in the world, but he would be a great sub/back up player for our "top striker" next season. IMO Quag should be surplus to requirements in our squad should we sign this much vaunted top player.

As for your post, Matri > Pazzini.
