I haven't seen enough of Batistuta as I started watching football in 2000 but I don't think he was better than Shevchenko.

Who was better between Batistuta and Shevchenko in your opinion?

Batistuta no doubt. Shevchenko was a beast in his time, but Batistuta was on a whole other level as a striker.

None, because of huge taxes and overall bureaucracy involved. The sheiks might be loaded but even they aren't dumb enough to spend twice as much in Italy when they could do same things with half the money in Spain or England.
The taxes are worse in England, I think.

Additional rate (over £150,000 a year) is currently 50%. This will decrease to 45% in April 2013.

So basically all PL players currently pay 50% income tax.

In regards to Serie A, I read that Milan pay Ibrahimovic's income tax figures, so they actually pay €19m per season towards just his salary.
