But he was a very young player then, still adapting to the league and developing, so just because he wasnt the player he is today doesnt mean he flopped

In his first season with us he scored 13 goals, which is decent, in the second he scored 7, which is too few, but like I said, his game is about much more than goals so to say that he flopped is a huge overstatement.

Zlatan didn't flop, I agree, but he didn't do good in his second season either. Capello was wrong to play him as much as he did during the 2nd season when Ibra was off-form for long periods of time.

If there is one team in Serie A (not the big teams) that is attractive enough for a Sheik to buy, which one would it be? Which team can you see become the new City or PSG in Italy? Maybe Sampdoria or Genoa? They have the stadium, great city, a lot of fans that show up and they are located in the north and not the crazy south.

The likes of Genoa have already been mentioned which were what I initially thought of. Torino would be interesting, with Juventus as their rivals. Would make some bigger derby games.

If Oil Money ownership were to come to Italy,i can see them taking over teams which already have a established setup like Napoli for example..It would make much more sense since they would take over a team with a great historical background and relatively well known all over the world.

Teams like Torino ,Fiorentina or Genoa i believe would be less attractive options imo as they would've to start from scratch..And their fanbase isnt exactly huge either..

You're right..But this is Serie A we're talking about,nowhere close to the best league in the world ,unless its a renowned club in Italy i dont see "PSG kind of owners"(in other words heavy investment) stepping foot in Italy..Infact look at PSG itself for example..Famous club and city with great support which is why they've chosen them to build their 'project'.

None, because of huge taxes and overall bureaucracy involved. The sheiks might be loaded but even they aren't dumb enough to spend twice as much in Italy when they could do same things with half the money in Spain or England.
