The other results also went in our favor, if we look at the bigger picture.

These are the standings

6. Fiorentina 45
------
10. Sampdoria 35
11. Bologna 32
12. Torino 32
13. Parma 32
14. Cagliari 31
15. Atalanta 30
16. Chievo 29
17. Genoa 26 (-1 match vs Roma)
------
18. Siena 21
19. Palermo 21
20. Pescara 21

The 6th place means Europe. These teams can't fight for Europe but they are pretty safe in the relegation battle. We're yet to play the teams in bold. I know that teams give their all against Juve, but when they have nothing to play for, as is the case with these teams that we'll have to face, they'll be an easier opponent than they normally are. This leaves the matches against Catania, Inter, Milan and Lazio as our toughest ones. If we win two of these four matches, then the scudetto will be much much closer.
Do Pescara and Palermo still have a chance to escape relegation? Cause if so, the will give us a tough game.

JuveJay, please don't force acmilan to come here again and explain how pissed he is to see baseless accusations coming from ill-informed biased people who only see when Milan gets calls in their favour but don't mention how many calls go against Milan as well.

It all evens out in the end but let's not forget how a certain phantom goal ultimately decided the fate of the scudetto as early as in the 24th round.

I found an old post from Jan '12, penalties given [team - no. of seasons - no. of penalties (penalties for/against difference)]:

Last 40 seasons
Milan - 38 - 248 (+110)
Inter - 40 - 237 (+78)
Roma - 40 - 232 (+54)
Juventus - 39 - 224 (+78)
Lazio - 34 - 204 (+45)
Fiorentina - 37 - 182 (-4)
Napoli - 32 - 173 (+35)

Last 10 seasons
Milan - 10 - 87 (+56)
Roma - 10 - 83 (+24)
Udinese - 10 - 61 (+1)
Inter - 10 - 58 (+12)
Lazio - 10 - 58 (+12)
Parma - 9 - 55 (-2)
Juventus - 9 - 52 (+15)
Samp - 8 - 48 (+5)

Last 2 seasons
Roma - 2 - 16 (+4)
Milan - 2 - 12 (+8)
Napoli - 2 - 11 (+6)
Udinese - 2 - 10 (+1)
Bari - 1 - 8 (-3)
Catania - 2 - 8 (-1)
Inter - 2 - 8 (-3)
Cesena - 2 - 8 (-3)
Parma - 2 - 8 (-4)
Lazio - 2 - 7 (0)
Samp - 1 - 7 (+6)
Lecce - 2 - 7 (-2)
Brescia - 1 - 6 (+3)
Fiorentina - 2 - 6 (+1)
Palermo - 2 - 6 (-5)
Juventus - 2 - 6 (-1)

And the goals over the 10 years at that time:

Inter 64+59+65+68+80+69+70+75+69+27 = 666 goals
Juventus 64+67+67+71+83+72+69+55+57+28 = 631 goals
Milan 55+65+63+85+57+66+70+60+65+37 = 623 goals

Considering the 'more attacking' argument.

so what you are saying JJ is that when the media say Juve don't get pk's is because they have no attack or don't have enough scoring chances is BULLSHIT?

Napoli have been fined 20,000 euros (£17,300) after a section of fans threw firecrackers and flares towards visiting Juventus supporters during a Serie A game.

Juve's team coach was also pelted with projectiles on its trip through Naples to the San Paolo ahead of Friday night's top-of-the-table clash, which finished 1-1, but the Lega Serie A were only able to punish the club for supporters' misbehaviour inside the stadium.

A statement published on cdn.legaseriea.it read: "Napoli receive a fine of 20,000 euros because their supporters launched numerous firecrackers, flares and three bottles into the area occupied by the supporters of the opposing team, without serious consequences."

Roma, Catania and Pescara were also issued with smaller fines as firecrackers were thrown on to home pitches in respective games against Genoa, Inter Milan and Udinese.

Juve play Pescara in Week 31 and Palermo in Week 35.

They are both going to have to start doing something pretty significant to still be in with a realistic chance of avoiding relegation by then.

Not only are those teams bottom and not really picking up points, all the teams in the bottom half of the table (apart from Parma who've been on a bad run) have been picking up points pretty regularly recently, so the gap between them and Palermo and Pescara is only increasing.

Right now, it's pretty hard to see any of the bottom three surviving.

well this is misleading then

Pescara President Daniele Sebastiani has revealed that he will make a decision on a new Coach this evening.

The Delfini sacked their latest boss Cristiano Bergodi yesterday after they dropped to the bottom of the Serie A table following a 1-0 loss to Udinese.

And the Adriatico side's chief has admitted that it was a tough decision to make.

“We will make a decision tonight,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “Bergodi is a good Coach and I'm sure if it happened again, this adventure would be different.

“We played really well against Fiorentina, but since then, obviously something has happened that we can't explain.”

Zdenek Zeman is considered the favourite to succeed the former CFR Cluj man.

Milan get most penalty's because they spend most time in the opponents box trough their playstyle + had some convincing divers in the past, like inzaghi.

Lets not drag us down to this level. Lets win the scudetto without allready looking for the favorable ref excuse.

Pathetic.
