New Giallorossi CEO Italo Zanzi assures fans “we want to make Roma the biggest club in the world.”

The director was officially appointed to the Board of Directors and spoke to Roma Channel on his plans.

“I am very excited, as I had the pleasure of spending time at Trigoria before my appointment. I got to know the club and the people, so now I am ready.

“We know what we are doing and our objective is clear: we want to make Roma the biggest club in the world, both on and off the field,” said Zanzi.

“We have an excellent squad, good directors and great fans, but a lot can improve, even if what we’ve done so far was not bad.

“We must work in an innovative way and improve by building a stadium on an international level. We want to give a unique experience to our fans.

“This great team is able to attract new partners. Trying to find new companies who want to share the project is the only way to reach the top.”

The Giallorossi are finding their feet under Coach Aurelio Andreazzoli after firing Zdenek Zeman last month.

“It was the right decision. Andreazzoli is a professional admired by everyone, there is great optimism and the results are backing it up.

“I really like the honesty of the fans and their warmth. It is very positive and motivating. I believe a sincere dialogue with the fans is crucial. We will work to guarantee the happiness they deserve.

“We must all work together: team, directors and fans. Without cohesion you don’t win or overcome difficulties. I am certain that all together we will win.”

So did any talking head comment on Cuntani behaviour? All I can see is silence. Imagine if it was our player doing it and getting away with it. There would be no end...

A reporter on Al jazeera reported this game to be a game from the Argentine league since both teams have around 9 Argentinas in their squad!

Just saw the highlights from this Serie B round. I saw a hilarious celebration. I think it was in the Sassuolo - Grosseto match, but I'm not sure at all. Anyway, the pitch was soaked in water, and after the goal the player celebrated by throwing himself down on the pitch and started crawling (swimming). It looked fucking hilarious.

Anyone who knows where I can find a video or GIF of this? :)

I saw the highlights on Sky Calcio.

Quite a big gap opening up at the top of Serie B between the top three and the rest.

May be a year where there aren't any playoffs.
