It suits us more playing Napoli on Friday as they play Udinese on Monday.

Milan also before the game before Barcelona were able to play their game on a Friday yet we had to play on a Saturday. Napoli need to shut up and accept it.

ac was it a complete failure you failed to win the league last year? As everyone of your opponents was in a rebuilding stage and you had the best team.
maybe, maybe not - Napoli have been resting players in the EL, while juve's are showing signs of fatigue (e.g the Roma game), so I'd say you could use an extra day of rest just as much if not more than Napoli.

Not much of an argument, tbh - Milan playing Barca with everything to play for can hardly be put on the same balance with juve playing Celtic and nothing to play for. In Milan's case playing on Friday was a plus for them, in your case, it won't be.

Yes, of course it was. But Juve only set out as a team in a rebuilding period, however that was just on paper as you hardly performed as a rebuilding team once the games started and the scudetto was a two horse race all season, basically. This year, Milan was never really in the scudetto race once the season began and if there is a scudetto race to speak of, it's only because you guys have shown unable to handle two competitions at once and ended up losing many points in the process, basically allowing Napoli to join said race. It's for excatly this reason that I am making the argument that you will be better served an extra day of rest for the Napoli game than the Celtic one. Other than that, this season had one-horse race written all over it, with Milan and Inter never and hardly ever in it, respectively.

well, you shouldn't - it's a caricature making fun of him and his bunga-bunga escapades, basically. If he was depicted as a knight in shining armor on a white horse or something I can see your point but ...

is this really what you are getting as a conclusion out of looking at that 'tar?
No, my conclusion by seeing your avatar is that even though that picture is a cartoon, it's scarily close to how Berlusconi actually looks now. He's basically a wax figure. However, seeing you with a Berlusconi avatar got me thinking. I know that some Milan fans are proud of having him as a president, but I don't know your view of it.

 Stop hating on @Klin you fuckers. He has been giving me more grief than all of you combined, but I still love that Maltese slut.

Oh, and @Foeller stop showing off your prized possession; you are like that loser kid in school who is asking for recognition :p I still love you tho

@radekas Giovinco needs to grow some balls before he can actually win any ;)
Kindly refrain from mentioning me again, for whatever reason you might have.

well, the guy is a great club president, which would be the case for anyone who cares so much about the team, but his BS as a public figure has been nothing else but embarrassing in so many ways. So, yeah, I see him as a caricature :p

That piece of shit De Lamentis, wants the game moved from Friday to Saturday night.

Tell him to fuck off. We have a European fixture against Celtic the following week, and we'd lose an extra days rest. Screw him.
Fucking third has no goddamn reason to do so. He got deliberately kicked out of the EL. FIGC should allways give the advantage to teams representing italy in europe

The only reason why Juve would insist on playing Napoli on Friday is the fact that Naples Soccer play their serie A match in Udine on Monday. For a good number of our players the match against Napoli will come after a 2 weeks rest, because I expect at least 4-5 starters to be benched or not even called for tomorrow's match against Siena. That's why Friday or Saturday won't make a big difference to us. But Napoli will have a must win in Udine on Monday and it will be tricky to face Juve only 4 days later. We just want to take the extra day rest from Napoli, but we will naturally play on the CL card and pretend that we need an extra day rest before we face Celtic.

I was replying to B_Aus' suggestion that pushing the game to Sat would hurt Juve, and that's just not the case.

With Juve bound to continue playing in the CL, this game is equally important for both teams as you'd need max separation from Napoli when the 1/8 finals come along.
And Napoli's season was never about winning Serie A in the first place but making the CL next year, so I wouldn't go as far saying that losing that game would break their season. Being part of the scudetto race at this point of the season is more like a bonus for them than a goal they set upon themselves that would ultimately deem this season a success or a failure.

Juve not winning the scudetto, on the other hand, would be considered a catastrophic failure given the circumstances of having the best team in Italy, while also having the luxury of its main opponents going thru a rebuilding period. Concentrating on the CL alone is dangerous business because there is nothing guaranteed there given the level of opposition ... and in this particular case with Celtic, there is really no need to do so anyway.

if napoli lose: their scudetto dream is over
if we lose: it would suck but we are still in command
