although I didn't see the match, gotta note that La Liga starts a week earlier, so Milan suffered not only from lack of quality, but probably also fitness facing what possibly might be the strongest team on paper out there. as laughable as they may be at times this summer, I still consider them our biggest rivals for the league.

I don't know if they'll spend big, but any sort of positive result would delude them into thinking they have a team strong enough to compete in the league and Champions League.

At least it'll be harder to bullshit to their fans now.
I'd feel like this sort of defeat has got to be pretty confidence shattering for Milan. I know it's a pre-season friendly but still they are going to have to face teams like this in the CL.

After last nights game, why would kaka want to leave a team that won 5-1, for the team that lost 5-1? Lets be honest, galliani is focusing on kaka because he wants to get the fans back on his side, and by bringing back a fan favourite he thinks it will accomplish something. But milan desperatly need a top striker and a CB. Kaka got three assist last night because he had good strikers to pass the ball to. Who is he going to assist every game, el shawwary? injury-prone Pato? I see kaka's return to be useless if they dont sign a striker at least. And milan definitely does not have the money for both. Probably not even enough money for one of them.
