Balotelli fined for smoking

Mario Balotelli will be fined by Milan after he was caught smoking in the toilets on a train towards Florence.

The striker is never far from the headlines and all three major Italian sports papers carried the story this morning.

The squad was travelling on the Frecciarossa train service from Milan to Florence for today’s Serie A match against Fiorentina.

Balotelli was caught smoking in the toilet by a guard, then teammate M’Baye Niang told Vice-President Adriano Galliani – also on the train – what had happened.

Galliani told Niang to inform SuperMario that a fine was on its way.

It was not the only incident to surprise Rossoneri fans yesterday, as Kevin-Prince Boateng unveiled a new bleached blond hairstyle.
